In the first season of this supernatural drama, unpopular British teen Paul Roberts (lain De Caestecker) is haunted by apocalyptic visions and ghastly incarnations of the dead which are called "The Fades". As the restless and vengeful spirits seek to gain control in the material world Paul is drawn into the turmoil being one of a small group of people who can actually see them and help fend them off (known as Angelics). The award winning series from the BBC was written by screenwriter and playwright Jack Thorne of "Skins" and "Cast-Offs" renown.
