Aa Kyra and Imogen attend a sleepover at Lily's, Darra, guided by a small orb, conducts a search through a crowded street market in Bangkok, Thailand. His search leads him to a crated cobra statue in a magical warehouse. When the statue attacks, its purple tentacles also cross the globe to snatch Kyra at her sleepover. As Imogen and Lily teleport to the magical library to search for references to purple tentacles, Darra and Kyra run from two agents, one a fairy, the other an elf.
