Bill Engvall Show9/8c TBS For three seasons now, Bill Engvall's sitcom has been addressing the quirks of married life and family dynamics. Consider it the Engvall Angle. These are nice little perspectives on domestic tug-of-wars, such as the up-and-down battles over lowering the toilet seat. Or shaving a beard, as is the case tonight. It gets hairy in the Pearson household when Susan demands that Bill cut off his post-fishing-trip beard. Bill stands up to her and refuses, which is never a good move for a husband, no doubt. And you thought that Bill's "remote control" interstitial was in your face. The Bill Engvall Show is getting a plum showcase on CBS this Monday night, offering up a Season 1 repeat that will hopefully lead folks to give the family-friendly comedy a try when it unveils its sophomore run Wednesday, June 12, on TBS.How this all works: In exchange for giving Bill the airtime, CBS will get to plug-plug-plug its fall line-up on TBS, in earnest, later in the summer. Entourage, HBOFinale airs Sunday, Sept. 2, at 10 pm/ET"Medellin" — triumph or fiasco? That's the question that Entourage has been asking during its fourth season, which began with prettyboy movie star Vincent Chase (Adrian Grenier) on the set of the violent Spanish-language film about drug lord Pablo Escobar. "We'll get lots of answers," promises exec producer Doug Ellin. The season finale was shot on location at the Cannes Film Festival last May. "Scenes took place live during the Ocean's Thirteen premiere, so our guys had to get their lines down while crowds were screaming." Post-finale, Entourage goes on hiatus until June. And then? "I have not a single idea," says Ellin, laughing.

Blue Collar comedian Bill Engvall will join the ranks of Bob Newhart, Bill Cosby and Ray Romano, each of whom has segued from the ranks of stand-up performer to sitcom star, with the debut of TBS' The Bill Engvall Show, which premieres tonight at 9:30 pm/ET. Paired with veteran sitcom writer/executive producer Mike Leeson (The Mary Tyler Moore Show, All in the Family, Rhoda), Engvall's goal is to return the family-friendly sitcom to the airwaves.
