Each year hundreds of international brands shoot their advertising campaigns in the idyllic city of Cape Town. This documentary series follows a group of American, British and Brazilian fashion models who travel to the city to cash in on the summer season. Each episode delves into the reality of their day-to-day interactions as they attempt to find work, friends and build their careers over a 3 month period. Featuring appearances from The model Agency's Carole White and America's Next Top Model's Aminat Ayinde, the show offers viewers a true reality check on the business of selling your looks.

Episode 2

The Test

The agency organizes a 'test' for the models with sought after Cape Town photographer Marnus Meyer. Ben takes advantage of the situation by bringing along some of his own designs for the shoot. But not everyone appears to be at their best on the day. Later the group have their first social outing together as they watch Michael walk the runway at Shimmy Beach nightclub.

Episode 3

Money

Michael reveals the real reason he's brought an 'assistant' with him for the trip. Ben finally has his moment to cast for GQ magazine while the girls have their first meetings with Elle, Marie Claire and Glamour. It becomes clear that each model has their own reasons for coming to Cape Town and one model suddenly realizes that the stakes have become much higher than they had previously thought.

Meanwhile Rochana makes a connection with a male model while shooting Women's Health on Clifton Beach. Ben gets good news after a much anticipated first surf lesson while Michelle wonders if her height may be holding her back.

The Newcomer
