Jimmy and his friends develop superpowers and they decide to use them to help other people, but they end up causing more harm than good. Jimmy tries to tell his friends that they need to train before they can take action, but Cindy and the others refuse to listen to Jimmy. Their latest stunt causes Cindy, Libby, Carl, and Sheen to be arrested by the military. Jimmy tries to find away to help his friends, but he gets frustrated over the lack of progress and he soon learns that his friends will die from their exposure to the belt. Jimmy becomes agitated over Cindy insulting him, he transforms into a giant monster. The next day, the parents are determined to save their children from the military. Jimmy soon causes a rampage in town and his parents try to calm him down, but Sam and the townspeople start to anger Jimmy and he tries to get his revenge on Sam and everyone else for belittling him. On the military base, Cindy and her friends are able to use their powers more carefully, but they are unaware of their fate. Cindy soon notices that Jimmy has turned into a monster because of how she treated him. Cindy and her friends are able to escape the base so they can help Jimmy. During a grueling battle, Carl tries to tell Cindy to apologize to Jimmy but they continue to fight Jimmy. Realizing they are outmatched, Sheen uses the heavy seltzer so that Carl can use his belching to end Jimmy's rampage. However, Cindy and her friends become weak from the fight. Jimmy tries to get his revenge on Cindy, she soon apologizes for everything she has said to him and she tries to admit her feelings to Jimmy, but she ends up succumbing to her fate. Jimmy finally calms himself down and he is reverted back to normal. Jimmy notices his friends are dying and he sees the seltzer bottle on the ground. Jimmy takes his friends back to his lab and he is able to make an antidote for his friends. Jimmy and his friends will only have their powers for about a week.

Jimmy secretly upgrades all of his father's toys so that his father can keep his job and win over his investors. But Jimmy gets overworked and tired on upgrading his father's latest toy. Hugh unknowingly places the nano-bots in his newest toy. During the presentation, the nano-bots take over the toy and they cause a rampage in Retroville. Jimmy wakes up and he discovers the nano-bots are gone. Jimmy enlists Carl and Sheen to help him end the nano-bots rampage on Retroville. Jimmy tricks the bots into going potty, causing the toy tank to overload and revert back to normal. Hugh is offered a promotion, but he turns it down and he goes back to his old job at the car dealership. Jimmy is happy that he won't moving and that he can be with his friends.

Jimmy is selected to be a student at a prestigious college by Dean Kane, but he learns that college life isn't what it seems for him. Jimmy is treated badly by his classmates and Seymour is secretly sabotaging Jimmy so he can get him expelled. Jimmy soon finds out about Seymour's treachery and he notices that he stole a page from his notebook about molecules. Jimmy enlists Carl and Sheen to help him prove his innocence. Seymour unveils the unstable molecules, but Jimmy and his friends are able to stop the molecules by using glue and metal boards. Dean Kane realizes that Jimmy is innocent and he expels Seymour for stealing Jimmy's idea and for putting the college in danger. Dean Kane offers Jimmy a scholarship, but he declines the offer and he goes back to his school.

It is soon discovered the alien inside Carl is an alien jellyfish and the mother is looking for her missing child. Carl allows Shmengo to go home with his mother. Later on, Carl and his friends attend Shmengo's birthday party. Clash of the Cousins: Jimmy must attend his great aunt's birthday party with his family, but his aunt and family members aren't thrilled to have Jimmy attending the party because his inventions have caused more harm than good. Jimmy tries to get into his family's good graces by giving them gifts but it doesn't go as planned and Jimmy gets wrongfully blamed for his actions. Jimmy isn't allowed to attend the party and he has his friends interrogate his cousins to see if they are responsible for framing him, but Gomer and Annabelle are clean. It is soon discovered that Jimmy's baby cousin Eddie is responsible for framing him and he is an evil genius. Eddie plants Godard's battery onto his great aunt's cake, but Jimmy arrives to prevent anyone from getting killed. Jimmy is able to prove his innocence by planting an explosive device into Eddie's rattle, causing everyone to realize that Eddie is responsible for framing Jimmy. Eddie gets punished by his parents for the attempted murder on his great aunt and for incriminating Jimmy.
