Swamp Thing

In an altered United States, several unrelated people discover how far they will go to survive a night during which all crime is legal for 12 hours.

An American variety show by the USA Network. It featured full-length and short films previously unavailable to the general public, music documentaries, music videos that had been censored or banned by the MTV, interviews, documentary-style information on video and computer graphics, biographical profiles of comedians, Cold War-era archive footage, parodies of Japanese "Super Sentai" television series, etc. Bela Lugosi's Monogram feature films were often used as examples of classic B-Movies.

Chandler Smythe, a reporter, is killed be a demonic-looking gang member. He awakens in a police interrogation room and is offered the chance to join "the Corps," a group of heavenly agents who struggle against the Faustians (folks who make a deal with the devil) and Morlocks (what the Faustians become when their deal falls through). He teams up with Henry MacNeil, a black man from the 70's. Together they travel the streets of Hollywood (a center of demonic activity, naturally), fighting evil.
