Season 2 of the drama series opens with the aftermath of the blast. Andy (Jaina Lee Ortiz) and Maya (Danielle Savre) go back to look for Jack (Grey Damon), while Dean (Okieriete Onaodowan) helps Victoria (Barrett Doss) with trying to get Travis (Jay Hayden) out. Just as they're dealing with a difficult crisis, the team is assigned a new captain: Robert Sullivan (Boris Kodjoe), an old friend of Chief Ripley (Brett Tucker). As the season progresses, the Station 19 crew has to deal not only with several different crises, but also with relationship problems and mental health issues that might tear the team apart.
