Nathan, Kelly, Simon, Alisha, and Curtis were expecting their community service to be boring, but after a freak thunderstorm they discover that it is anything but. Bestowed with strange powers, the five very different teens realize they have a lot more to worry about than just picking up litter, especially as they discover that they are not the only ones who have been given strange powers. Secrets will be revealed, feelings brought to the surface, and relationships formed and broken. But hey, its only 12 weeks of community service; what's the worst that could happen?

Michelle Paradise stars as Jennifer, a documentary filmmaker with an active imagination and a shaky career. Jen wants to find Ms. Right but first she must navigate the rules of lesbian life, most of which she learns along the way. Luckily, her girl friends are there to help: Sam, a sexy lesbian who goes through women faster than real estate; Chris and Kris, a lesbian couple trying to have a baby while expanding their pet business; and Crutch, a young musician who must still do some growing up before she can expect to be taken seriously.
