Sons of Thunder
Detective Carlos Sandoval resigns from the Dallas Police after his partner is murdered. He then joins up with childhood friend Trent Malloy, an ex-military martial arts instructor. Together they decide to form a private investigation business. Trent's brother, Tommy, and also ex-cop turned bartender Butch McMahon help them out from time to time.

Carlos Sandoval goes on TV and says something about a criminal that the man takes as an insult. So he grabs the cop Carlos is with. Carlos pulls his gun and the man threatens the cop unless Carlos puts his gun down which he does. That's when he kills the cop. Carlos is accused by an arrogant cop of not doing the right thing. Carlos loses his cool and smacks the man but his Captain backs him. But when Carlos asks to work the case his Captain won't let him so he turns in his badge. With Trent's help he tries to find the man.
