Skippy
Skippy, created by actor John McCallum and film director Lee Robinson, was produced for the Nine Network from 1966 to 1968. It told the adventures of a young boy and his intelligent pet kangaroo in Waratah National Park, outside Sydney. By the end of 1969, Skippy was reportedly screened in 80 countries-more than any other TV show in the world. It led to books, toys and a feature film called The Intruders (1969).

A temperamental artist painting wildlife in the Nation Park demands Matt catch the vandals that have damaged his work. Skippy befriends the reclusive artist and acts as both muse and collaborator. With Ed Devereaux, Tonny Bonner, Ken James, Garry Pankhurst and featuring Skippy The Bush Kangaroo.
