Temple introduced (and occasionally appeared in) versions of classic fairy tales, with such performers as Charlton Heston, E.G. Marshall, Agnes Moorehead, Boris Karloff, Eli Wallach, Imogene Coca, Nancy Marchand, Martin Landau and Jonathan Winters. 'Shirley Temple's Storybook' was retitled 'The Shirley Temple Show' when it moved from ABC to NBC in September 1960.
