She learns that OPA is closed, Quinn is on her own, Abby's now working at the White House, and Huck is working as computer serviceman. She's about to leave when a Senator calls her. It seems she fears that she killed another whom she went to, to get support on a Bill Grant is working on. But when Olivia arrives she sees the man is still alive. She learns from the Senator that the man made a move on her and she resisted which is how he got hurt. Grant upon learning Olivia's back wonders if she's staying.

Cyrus wants Olivia to help make sure that a couple, who were suppose to be the President's guests at the State of the Union address, shows up. When she goes to them, she discovers that they are at each other's throats. But she manages to get them to Washington but the antagonism doesn't stop. Olivia has Huck and Quinn keeping an eye on them but the tension between them makes it difficult. The President wants his wife at the event but she's still despondent over her son's death and someone takes a photo of her in her state and it appears in the papers. So they try to get her to snap out of it long enough to appear but she's not being cooperative.

And Olivia tries to find the body of her neighbor whose apartment the ones who kidnapped her used, for her other neighbor, Rose, who's wondering where she is.

She agrees only if they pay her. So Olivia decides to ask one of the men she wrote about hoping that one of them can foot the bill. They get a copy of the book and while she didn't use their real names they're able to figure out who they are, Eventually they discover one of them is Rosen and he's worried how it'll affect him if it got out. And it turns out Rosen is about to go after B6 13. And he asked Huck for help and Huck agrees only if he gets full immunity.

And she says that Michael's parents should be there but he says they won't come. So they arrange for them to come but they are not exactly behind him. And Cyrus recalls his other marriages.
