Irene is a young blind girl who is talented and independent. She goes to the library to listen to recordings of Pablo a reader of poems. She falls in love with his voice and gets information about him one day when she stays late at the library. She begins to call him without identifying herself. Pablo is alone and feels sad. Without realizing it, he falls in love with Irene and is anxious to know who she is. He is suspicious that the mysterious woman is someone who listens to his recordings. He goes to the library to find out information about her and finally they meet.
