When Lenny decides it's time to reopen the club, Alex finds himself back under the thumb and he doesn't like it. Despite protestations from Kelly-Marie, Alex decides it's time to wrestle power back from Lenny and starts playing a dangerous game. Knowing he cannot do it alone, Alex seeks protection from an unlikely ally. But at what cost?

When old cellmate Gaz shows up with a plan to rob Scarlett's shop again, Patrick has a struggle on his hands to protect his new-found family. Elsewhere, Will and Robbie's relationship continues to deteriorate, and Zinnie worries about how Dan is coping.

As the relaunch of Chrome Nightclub fast approaches, Kelly-Marie is working hard to make the night a big success, even if that means snubbing her own mother. But Scarlett won't be put off that easily. Alex struggles to contain the nefarious activities of their new security guy Shug, who threatens to ruin Kelly-Marie's big night if he doesn't get what he wants. And some fancy footwork from Lenny's sassy new lawyer Erin promises to put the money-laundering case to bed once and for all, provided Alex agrees to play ball.

Gabriel is a bit skint so he's ecstatic when Kelly-Marie offers him a job at Chrome. The excitement sours when he realises that Shug is running escorts there and that Alex may be in on it. His instinct is to flee from the dark side, but who would protect an oblivious Kelly-Marie? Elsewhere, Alan puts his foot in it with Grace. Eileen gets under Frank Paton's skin, and Zinnie swithers over Dan's offer of a full-time job at the Health Centre.

Lenny is infuriated when he discovers Alex is trying to muscle in on Chrome. When Erin Gunn offers to try and scupper Alex, Lenny agrees, but is that something he might come to regret?
