Season 4 of the comedy series finds co-creators and stars Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein continuing to lampoon the culture of the Pacific Northwest city in a series of sketches. Among the highlights: A celery salesman cooks up a plan to increase the food's popularity; ecoterrorists get in the face of a makeup company that uses animals to test products; and Malcolm and Kris tailgate at a live "Prairie Home Companion" show. Other standout sketches featured Peter reuniting with his old band and his former wife, their lead singer; and Toni and Candace kicking it into high gear and stepping up their game whenthey take over the Portland Trail Blazers dance team. Star cameos this season featured Kirsten Dunst, Michael Nesmith, Jeff Goldblum, Maya Rudolph, Gus Van Sant, Paul Allen and k.d. lang.
