Aka ep99.1 Angela and Colin make a 'bush habitat' out of a doona draped over blocks and a blue sheet for a running creek. Angela makes an echidna. Colin digs like the echidna, jumps like the kangaroo and runs like the possum. Angela and Colin play the 'Pick-A-Pocket' game. Cards are hidden in the pockets of clothing on a hat stand. The presenters take turns to choose a card and hop, jump or wriggle according to the picture on the card.

Native Animals - Butterflies

Angela and David cut paper butterflies, dip them in a container of water, then drip paint from a paintbrush onto them. Angela tie-dyes fabric. David shows the colours of the toys clothes. David and Angela play an animal movement with a large cardboard box with different animal pictures on each side. Don presents the story of The Baby Platypus. Angela, David and Jemima dress up as butterflies with pipecleaner antennae and tie-dye cloth wings.

Native Animals - Reptiles

Shot on location at the AUSTRALIAN REPTILE PARK, Gosford, NSW. The presenters show us a statue of a frill-neck lizard. Angela introduces Eric the crocodile, small turtles, various snakes, a blue tongue lizard and a baby crocodile. Angela and Colin go for a walk in the bush. The presenters act out the story of The Crocodile Hunt in the playground. Glenn and Colin sing about dingoes. The presenters enjoy a picnic and ask questions about the types of food different animals enjoy and which animals are covered in feathers, fur or fins.

Native Animals - Bilbies

Angela and David show white, black, yellow and red sand, then use the sand to make a stripey sand castle. They make a wavy stripey sand jar by pouring dry sand of each colour into a jar then pressing down with a stick to create a wavy pattern. David shows posters of native animals. There are two pictures of the same house, one during the day and one at night. Characters are added to each picture to show who sleeps at night and who sleeps during the day. The presenters create sand pictures of a shark, turtle and snake by drawing outlines with glue on paper, then pouring sand over the top, and shaking off the sand.

Native Animals - Washing

Angela and Colin undress Banana and wash his pyjamas and hang them on on a clothes line. The presenters experiment to see how many drops of water from an eye-dropper fit onto a five cent piece. Angela creates the 'Silly Animal Book' by cutting in half pictures of a duck, a wombat and a kangaroo, then mixing and matching the top and bottom sections of their bodies. Colin paddles in a box-canoe around the wetlands to go bird watching.

Aka ep100.1 Simon makes a small Velociraptor out of items from the Useful Box. Angela and Simon build a big dinosaur from cardboard boxes, tubes and rope. Simon pretends to be clay, and Angela moulds him into a tree and a Tyrannosaurus Rex. Simon shows large cardboard cut-out dinosaurs.

Colin and Noni dress up the toys as dinosaurs; Big Ted as a 3-horned Triceratops, Jemima as a Velociraptor and Meeka as a Tyrannosaurus. Noni dresses up as explorer Dr Noni and discovers the name of the day in a lump of clay. Noni shows a photo of a party. Little Ted has a fourth birthday party with a Dinosaur theme. Old Bear, Little Ted's grandfather, also attends the party.

Dinosaurs - Hatched from Eggs

Glenn and Karen introduce the Play School pets, Peppino and Peppina the budgerigars, Bit and Bot the goldfish, and Henry and Henrietta the mice. Glenn dresses as paleontologist, Dr Glenn and discovers the name of the day in a sand pit. Glenn shows plastic eggs, each with an animal inside. Glenn makes big eggs out of newspaper-covered washing baskets then hides inside one pretending to be Karen's baby dinosaur. Karen, dressed as a "Playosaurus" searches for her "baby" and discovers Little Ted Stegosaurus and Big Ted Triceratops along the way.

Dinosaurs - Teeth

Benita and Simon show the Apatosaurus and the Tyrannosaurus Rex made of cardboard boxes that were made on Monday. Benita feeds the dinosaurs, distinguishing which are herbivores and which are carnivores. · Simon shows fossilised dinosaur teeth, one from a herbivore and one from a carnivore. Leo the Lion is greeted by loyal and gift-giving subjects, Daisy with milk, Henny Penny with eggs and Sam with wool. He saves Slush from a crocodile by shooing it away with his throne.

Dinosaurs - Fossils and Skeletons

Angela and Simon flatten a lump of clay and Simon leaves an imprint of his foot in it. Simon shows a fossil of a fish. Simon dresses as Professor Simon and finds the name of the day in the sand-tray. He then discovers the long lost tiny tea set of the long lost tea-drinking people. Angela shows a Velociraptor, Apatosaurus and Tyrannosaurus Rex, made of boxes. These become part of the Play School Museum showing the history of Earth.

Aka ep101.1 Noni makes a train and a roller, while Simon makes a car and a digger. Noni folds out six blue paper cut out buses, then turns them over to reveal the name of the day. She uses five yellow paper cutout cars with a poem. Simon pretends to be different robots in a car factory.

Deborah and David show how a bike works. The presenters conduct a safety check on the bike before David has a ride. Deborah and David sing a silly song using Scrap the dog, Daisy the cow and Henny Penny. Deborah paints with fingerpaint on a clear perspex easel. She paints: a bus in blue paint, a car in yellow, a fire truck in red and a bicycle in purple paint. David prints the pictures. The prints are attached to a chocolate wheel to play a game.

Deborah and David build a house out of cardboard boxes for the toys then attach a garage. David uses a remote control to drive Diddle's car into the garage. David sends a letter to Deborah, to let her know the name of the day, via Diddle in her car. David makes a fire engine. The fire engine is used to help Diddle, Slush and Sam off the roof of their house.

The presenters draw squiggles and circles in the air with ribbons attached to sticks. Noni and Jemima go to the Play School Motor Show. They look at a fire engine and a train.

Don is outside in the bush and tells the story of Koala and her Family.

George becomes the guide of the Play School Art Gallery and shows Karen the works of art. He then plays a trick on Karen by pretending to be a moving portrait in a frame.

Angela sets the table so the presenters can enjoy the cooked spaghetti with cheese.

The presenters make bread dough and it is left to rise. They show us pre-made dough that has risen, been shaped and put in a loaf tin, then left in a warm place to rise again. Simon pretends to be a lump of dough, Angela "kneads" him, then he grows bigger and bigger. The risen dough in the tin is put in the oven to bake and is removed after the story. Simon and Angela make butter by shaking cream in a container. Angela makes peanut butter in a food processor. The presenters share and eat the food that they have made.

The jobs include: putting covers on the doonas, polishing the table, sweeping the leaves, hanging up the washing, making banana muffins, planting out the lettuces, feeding the fish. They prepare a snack for Angela and the children.
