Episode 1
Aka 45.1 ep#71 Anne and Kerry make day and night collage pictures. Anne's picture has a shiny gold sun with birds, tissue paper flowers, a boy and girl, and a house with open windows to let the sun in. Anne puts a crown on the sun and calls him King Sol. She sings the song of the week 'Sun, Sun'. Kerry pretends to sleep and Anne wakes him up by singing Nacio Herb Brown's 'Good Morning'. It is quarter past four on the flower clock. Rob tells Aesop's Fable about The Wind and the Sun. Anne says Kerry is stronger at lifting blocks, but then sings 'Anything You Can Do, I Can Do Better' with Kerry. Anne recites a poem about the Sun and Moon. Kerry shows his night time collage picture, with a crown on his moon calling her Queen of the Night. He demonstrates how the moon changes from crescent moon to full moon, then draws a house with white chalk onto his picture. Through the round window it is night time. Kerry adds silver stars to his picture. Kerry explains 'Monday' is 'Moon-day' and Anne explains 'Sunday' is named after the 'Sun'. Anne sings the song of the week again 'Moon, Moon' and 'Sun, Sun'.
Episode 2
Aka 45.2 ep#72 Kerry dresses up as the Sun King (Louis XIV). Anne tells the story of the Emperor's New Clothes and dresses as the Queen. Kerry and Anne await the arrival of all the Lords and Ladies at the Palace, because it's Princess Jemima's birthday. They give her presents and dance the Minuet.
Episode 3
Aka 45.3 ep#73 Anne and Kerry talk about and show pictures of imaginary animals; dragons, unicorns and bunyips. Anne tells a story about unicorns. The Royal and the Australian Coats of Arms are shown, and Anne and Kerry each draw themselves a Coat of Arms using the Play School pets as models.
Episode 4
Aka 45.4 ep#74 Anne and Kerry dramatise the poem 'Old Woman Tossed Up In A Basket'. Kerry reads the story, with pictures, of 'The cat who went to the moon'. Anne dresses up as an astronaut and goes in her rocket ship to the moon. Kerry pretends he's the man in the moon. They leave the moon in the rocket ship to return to Play School.
Episode 5
Aka 45.5 ep#75 Anne and Kerry show flowers and point out that bees collect nectar from the flowers to make honey. Kerry shows a real beehive (glass fronted) and describes what he can see. Kerry tells the story of 'The Monkey Who Would Be King' but the monkey makes a bad job of it and the real king of the beasts (the lion) resumes his leadership.
Episode 6
Aka 46.1 ep#76 Diane and Alister make a wind instrument - a kazoo. Peter Collingwood tells a story of a bird that fell down a chimney in a storm.
Episode 7
Aka 46.2 ep#77 Diane and Alister dress up as a pilot and parachutist. They are flying in the Play School plane and Diane jumps out. Through the windows real parachutists are jumping.
Episode 8
Aka 46.3 ep#78 Through the magic windows we see different animals with twitching noses and the ways in which they pick up various scents carried by the wind. Snowball the rabbit visits Play School.
Episode 9
Aka 46.4 ep#79 Diane and Alister are practising a variety of instruments for a concert. Peter Collingwood tells the story of the Four Musicians of Bremen. Alister conducts the Play School Orchestra.
Episode 10
Aka 46.5 ep#80 Friday Diane and Alister experiment with balloons to find how many it takes to lift Jemima in a basket into the air. Alister tells the story of a dandelion and a scarecrow.
Episode 11
Aka 47.1 ep#81 Lorraine and Donald make roundabout horses out of things they find in the Useful Box. In today's Play School, Lorraine visits the show. The poem is about a roundabout's horses and a small boy riding one of these horses imagines he's a robber, a farmer and a knight.
Episode 12
Aka 47.2 ep#82 Donald dresses up as a knight in armor and rides away on his mop horse to fight in the crusades. Lorraine tells the story of Sir Kevin of Devon with pictures. She dresses up as Lady Lorraine in medieval attire. She dubs Donald and Teddy knights. Lorraine and Donald work knight and dragon puppets in a short play.
Episode 13
Aka 47.3 ep#83 Lorraine and Donald look at their skin. Donald pretends to shave. They look at the pets exploring their fur, feathers and hair: Snowball the rabbit, Henry and Henrietta the mice, Peppino and Peppina the budgerigars, and Bit and Bot the fish. Lorraine also looks at a visiting Australian Freshwater Tortoise, looking closely at the shell. The poem of the week is recited. Lorraine pretends to be a horse rider, using her neck scarf as the horse's tail. She then wears the scarf, pretending to be the robber from the poem. It is twelve o'clock on the flower clock with coins and bank notes underneath. Alex tells the story of Ned Kelly using Sidney Nolan's paintings. He sings the story on his banjo. Donald dresses as a bush ranger using paper shopping bags. Through the round window children visit the Galápagos tortoises at the zoo and ride on their backs. Donald pretends to be a tortoise with a basket for a shell. Little Ted and Jemima ride on the shell, while the presenters sing 'Hey Dee Ho'. Lorraine tries to ride on the shell also, but Donald says she's 'too heavy'.
Episode 14
Aka 47.4 ep#84 Lorraine and Donald have made a wine keg drum into a horse, for they're in 'the bush' today. There's a real saddle and bridle which Lorraine puts on an old broom stuck into the drum for the horse's head. Donald rides Thursday, the horse, and pretends he's a farmer mustering sheep. Lorraine looks at the calendar and recites the poem of the week about a Merry Go Round. Donald pretends to be a squatter and musters stock with a sheep dog. Alex sings a mustering song on his banjo while we look through the windows. Donald counts sheep and recites the poem 'The Man from Menindee'. Lorraine pretends to be a 'jillaroo' and Teddy is a 'jackaroo'. She sings a song about being a 'jillaroo' to the tune of 'Yankee Doodle'. It is half past twelve on the Flower Clock, with a swagman underneath. Alex shows how a cork hat is used; has a rolled blanket swag filled with a clean flannel shirt, needle and thread, socks with a hole, pipe to smoke and newspaper; looks at a billy can; and has a tucker bag. He sings the story of 'Waltzing Matilda' on his guitar. Lorraine sings the chorus of 'Waltzing Matilda' while she and Teddy wait for the billy to boil. Donald has fallen asleep from counting sheep. Alex joins them for a cup of tea and they all sing the chorus to 'Waltzing Matilda' again. Lorraine suggests they all ride home together on the wine keg horse, but Donald thinks they won't all fit and calls Lorraine a 'Silly Billy'. He then suggests that Lorraine and Alex walk while he rides.
Episode 15
Aka 47.5 ep#85 Lorraine and Donald blow on bottles and perform as 'The Play School Bottle Blowers', playing 'Ding Dong Dell'. It is one o'clock on the flower clock with water reeds underneath. Donald tells a story about the Greek god Pan and his panpipes. Lorraine plays some panpipes. Donald plays a barrel organ, looking at how it works. Lorraine looks at photos and drawings of carousels, discussing how some play music from organs or record players. Through the round window is a carousel. The toys sit on blocks in a large circle around the barrel organ to make a carousel. Lorraine cranks the organ, while Donald dresses up as different horse riders from the week's poem.

Aka 48.1 ep#86 Donald makes drums using ice cream tins, pencils and soft drink "bubbles" from the Useful Box. He and Darlene form the Play School band and play the drums. Donald reads the story of the Pied Piper of Hamelin. Donald and Darlene play "Follow the Leader" games inviting participation with clapping and singing.

Lareyn, a trained golden retriever, is in Play School today, and she shakes hands and retrieves for Donald. Des tells a story of zoo animals doing tricks. Donald and Darlene pretend to train each other as circus animals.

They sing 'Ding Dong the Witch is Dead'. Darlene reads the story 'The Sorcerer's Apprentice'. Through the magic windows we see a ventriloquist with his puppet 'Cookie'. Darlene and Donald show how to make Teddy disappear in a Jack in the Box.

Aka 48.5 ep#90 Donald and Darlene make a musical instrument, a "Broomstick and bottle Harmonica", filling the bottle with the right amount of water to make the right notes. They experiment with all sorts of things showing what sort of sounds they each make: wood, metal, bells, etc. Story told by Des is about what happens when the shark alarm rings at the beach. Donald and Darlene ring the Play School ambulance bell and pretend to take Humpty off to school.
