Clothes - Monday

Aka ep#1 Kerry builds a wall of a house from boxes. Anne looks in the useful box for something to make curtains for the house. The poem of the week 'The Draper's Shop' is told with images. Kerry gets Anne to close her eyes and follow a piece of string, which leads her to the box house. The presenters race through the entrance of the house. There's also a mouse in Play School today. Anne and Kerry build a shop with things found in the Useful Box.

Clothes - Tuesday

Aka ep#2 Anne and Kerry sing a 'Good Morning' song. Kerry plays an imaginary drum and trumpet. They find marching band uniforms on the dressing up pegs. Kerry wears a tall shako hat and Anne wears a short kepi hat. They march to the song 'See Here Comes the Big Procession'. They look at the valves on a trumpet. Anne plays different types of bells. Church bells can be heard coming from the windows. They look through the arched window to see the bells. It is two o'clock on the flower clock with a corn husk doll and hay stacks underneath. Donald tells a story of some old clothes that are turned into a scarecrow. The clothes are animated by a puppeteer to help tell the story. Kerry pretends to be a scarecrow, while Anne pretends to be a bird. They recite the poem of the week 'The Draper's Shop'. Paper is folded and cut to make a chain of paper draper dolls.

Clothes - Wednesday

Anne and Kerry are caring for the pets. They have a look at Peppino and Peppina, the budgerigars, home and compare it to the nest of a wild bird. Through the square window there are different types of birds with their nests and eggs. Kerry pretends to be a bird collecting items for their nest. Anne joins him and they build nests in different places including amongst reeds, on a cliff and up a tree. Kerry pretends to be a rooster and Anne a hen. They sing a song about chickens. Through the square window, again, there are chickens and eggs. The presenters sing 'Cock-a-Doodle Doo'. It is three o'clock on the clock, with ducks amongst reeds underneath. The story is 'Angelique the Happiest Duck in Paris'. Kerry has made some white cardboard puppets for Anne to make a mobile hung off a jar lid. They recite the poem of the week 'The Draper's Shop'. Kerry looks at a pet duck. Anne and Kerry feed Bit and Bot, the goldfish, and Peppino and Peppina.

It is twelve o'clock on the clock. Donald tells a story about a fieldmouse and an acorn. Through the windows there are city parks and trees. David pretends to be a tree.

It is six o'clock on the flower clock with boats, a bridge and two islands underneath. Kenrick tells a story about a speed boat. Peter accuses Bear (i.e. Big Ted) of being a 'fat bear'. Ann defends Bear and helps him perform the song 'First He Walks Upon his Toes'. Ann and Peter perform the song with actions, walking over to the windows. They can hear the sound of the sea coming through the windows. They look through the round window and see a lighthouse and penguins. The presenters build an island for Bear. A film shows Ann's children Michael and Jennifer helping her other daughter Deborah build an island at Ricketts Point Beach in Beaumaris. Peter pretends to be a tug and sings 'I'm a little tug'. Ann pretends to be a big ship being pulled by the tug.

A film is shown of Siamese Cats playing. Anne plays with a Siamese kitten while Peter plays with Tiffany. Through the arched window is a dog playing with a garden hose. The presenters play 'Stacks on the Mill' with their hands.

Kenrick tells a story about a family moving home and their pet dog who is confused by the whole process. Anne and Peter carry a large moving box for Jemima's new house, asking her where she'd like it to be placed. The presenters discuss the muscles used to carry the box. They discuss other muscles used in our bodies. Through the square windows there are people using their muscles for football, gymnastics, ballet and running. Peter pretends to be a weigh lifter and then balancing on a tightrope. Anne sings the song 'This is My Little House'.

Water - Round and Round

Aka ep#VIC5 Anne and Peter help Humpty test different items to see whether they can be lifted with a magnet. Model boats are used in a water tray to recite the poem of the week. It is half past nine on the flower clock with a rotary clothes line underneath. Kenrick tells a story about 'Smokey Sal' the coal boat. Peter looks at a set of traffic lights and sings a song about the three coloured lights. Ann pretends to go driving in a car with Humpty. There is a projection from a rotating shadow lamp, making it appear as though the car is moving through the countryside. The useful box is the car engine. The car breaks down and Ann asks Peter if he can fix it. Peter realises the car has run out of petrol and teases Ann for having forgot to refuel the car. Through the round window there is busy traffic. Peter takes over driving the car. Anne and Humpty play a 'joke' on Peter by pretending that a magnet can lift paper, by hiding a paper clip underneath. Peter uses a magnet to roll a metal bottle top over a piece of cardboard.

Aka ep#VIC6 Patsy and Evan look through the useful box. Patsy finds a raffia hat and Evan finds some fly net. Patsy also finds a blow up beach toy in the shape of a sea horse. Evan helps to inflate it. Wearing a bucket on his head, Evan marches around like a soldier, while Patsy claps along and pretends to ride the inflated sea horse. It is six o'clock on the flower clock with shells underneath. Lorna tells a story about children who go to a holiday house on a beach, at the end of summer. The poem of the week 'The Fish with the Deep Sea Smile' by Margaret Wise Brown, is recited along with pictures. The presenters check on Jemima and Bear (Big Ted). Jemima wants to go to the beach and Bear wants to see some boats, so the presenters look through the arch window to find children looking for shells, fishing on a jetty, fishing on the beach and fish underwater. Patsy and Evan sort shells that they find in the useful box, looking at their features. They recite a poem about a shell, listening to the 'sound of waves' by holding it to their ears. Large blocks are used to make a boat with a sail. Jemima and Bear sail the boat, while the presenters sing about a little white sail boat.

Agnes tells a story about how her father set up a bank in her bedroom, when they ran a general store. Nehama has a gold sovereign coin. The presenters stage a concert for the toys. They perform 'Botany Bay' with Nehema on tea chest bass and Peter on guitar. Then Peter pretends to be a magician and makes Henry and Henrietta, the mice, disappear. Then he makes Peter the rabbit disappear. Humpty appears in Peter's place. Through the square window they see the town of Echuca, Victoria, during the day and night. Nehema and Peter add an aerodrome to the collage.
