Feed a Cold
Simon has a cold and Oliver offers to look after him.
Episode 2
Going to Pot
Whilst visiting Ringo Oliver and Simon find that he has a cupboard full of Clarice Cliff pottery left him by Mrs Sadler's aunt. They tell him it is worthless whilst plotting to buy it cheaply from him but later found he has sold the lot for a fiver to a Greek restaurateur who comes to the shop and agrees to sell it to the highest bidder - which turns out to be Simon. But the terminally clumsy Mrs Sadler strikes again before he can enjoy his good fortune.

Love Is a Many-Splendoured Thing
Oliver falls for the lovely - and much younger - Angela but there is a snag as her imperious mother Lady Mottram looks down on him and refuses to give her blessing to their engagement. Oliver recruits Simon to bring her round but unfortunately Simon's intervention proves to be anything but helpful.

A Night to Remember
Burglars are in the neighbourhood, leading to an eventful night for the two households.
Episode 5
The Battle of Deveraux Dale
Lady Deveraux asks Simon and Oliver to take part in a historical re-enactment of a Civil War battle, the battle of Deveraux Dale, at the village fete. On the opposing side is the bookie, Bernie Miller, who has a score to settle.

Affairs of the Heart
Simon's ex-wife Stephanie arrives unexpectedly.
