Ever since Meg passed away, Golly has been taking care of baby Cameron as a single parent, with the help of his daughter, Jess. Meanwhile, as spring returns to Glenbogle, the list of repairs to be done is endless and Paul finds himself face to face with a feisty young shepherdess named Iona.

Paul gets a big surprise when his goddaughter Amy arrives unannounced. She claims to have finished school and with her parents both abroad, has come for an indefinite visit. Paul hasn't seen her for many years and Amy isn't exactly being truthful. Amy's presence also upsets Zoe who thinks Ewan has an interest in her. Iona moves into Glenboble House after the fire in her cottage and is somewhat in awe of living in the "Big House". Poacher Tam Cooper has recently been released from prison and has inherited his mother's tenancy. He's proposing to buy the cottage and the surrounding 5 acres as is his right. Golly is convinced he's up to something and it soon becomes obvious that he has mischief on his mind.

Episode 3

Episode #7.3

Paul is still searching for a solution to the estate's money woes and his latest project is to turn Glenbogle House into a hotel. He'll need an investor however and will be entertaining the very rich Victor and Catriona for the weekend in the hopes that they will go in with him. Victor proves to be a difficult man at the best of times and everything possible seems to go wrong. Paul had planned for Molly to act as his hostess but when Golly has a fall and hurts his back, she spends most of her time at his cottage tending to him. Amy is being mischievous and causing no end of trouble for Ewan in the kitchen. Donald doesn't agree with Paul's idea of a hotel and seems bent on wrecking the plan.

Episode 4

Ewan believes he's struck gold when he discovers that Amy has photographed a monster emerging from the loch. Although skeptical at first, Paul too soon finds himself captivated by the mystical creature and the magical power it seems to have.

Iona is stunned when her former fiancé, Malcolm McRae, comes to Glenbogle to help save the estate's forest from a spreading fungi. The surprise forces Paul to consider his true feelings for Iona while attempting to heal the damage in the woods. Meanwhile, Jess competes in the local Ghillie's challenge, as the only woman, with all odds stacked against her.

Episode 6

Episode #7.6

Emotions are running high. The bank can no longer wait for Glenbogle to pay off their debt, forcing Paul to sell the estate. Then, a wealthy stranger comes to buy the estate forcing the family to face their futures without Glenbogle. Meanwhile, Molly must decide between Golly and Killwillie, Donald must face up to his future, alone, Paul must confront his true feelings for Iona and Golly must confront his true feelings for Molly. All of this comes to a head, and a surprising visitor from the past lends a helping hand.
