Sonny is more interested in his new set of wheels: one white 1986 Ferrari Testarossa. Stone is stalked, Sonny is pistol whipped and Captain William Maynard (G. Gordon Liddy) emerges to kidnap Stone to ransom him for the film, and the guys realize Stone finally got his story straight. Ira believes he goes out a hero.

Crockett and Tubbs are working with Customs Agent Frank Arriola to get major drug dealer Morales, whom Frank once arrested but Morales still ended up walking because of Frank's bribed colleague. Frank's brother Tico, a jai alai player, goes to a brothel after a match but the girl he's with provokes him into getting rough with her. He thinks he killed her but it's only a ruse by the madame who's connected to Morales. She calls Frank and shows him the tape of Tico "killing" the girl. That's when she and Morales tell Frank that he must inform them about any operation against Morales to buy their silence, so he reveals in desperation that Crockett and Tubbs are cops. However, the two criminals press him further. We'll he completely break or snap and push back?

Switek goes into a Ladies Only venue flashing "Master Badge," but he should have said "Don't leave home without it." Tubbs' flavor of the month is murdered and he volunteers to go undercover at Bolton State Prison to catch everyone connected to her killing. Prison is no fun, even in FLA, so Tubbs is happy the corrupt guards get a jury of their peers.

There's a drug overdose epidemic among the youth in a poor neighborhood, so Crockett and Tubbs are staking out the street where the local youth gangs like to make their drug deals. As a result, Crockett busts a scared young man called Archie Ellis who was sent there by "The Regular Fellas", the biggest local drug dealing youth gang, to deliver a package of black tar heroin to a buyer. Meanwhile, Tubbs busts a kid from the enemy gang called "The Apostles", who turns out to be Officer Ramirez, an undercover cop from the anti-gang unit. As for Archie, he turns out to be a good kid and a high-school football talent who's about to receive a college scholarship and move out of his bad neighborhood. He admits that he only agreed to do the drug deal to get enough money to buy a ball and a pair of new sports shoes for his football training. Since he shows clear signs of remorse for what he has done, has no serious priors and respectable, concerned community organizer Ed McCain is vouching for him, Sonny considers dropping the charges and using Ramirez instead to take on "Count", the cynical and overconfident fifteen-year-old leader of Fellas, who's real name is Curtis Walker but likes to call himself Count. Ramirez and his boss Lt. Lee Atkins have no problems with this plan either but disgruntled, crusading Assistant State Attorney William Pepin warns them that if their plan fails, he will prosecute Archie in order to get to Curtis. Sonny takes a liking to Archie and they start to bond.

Crockett and Tubbs are working with robbery to try and find a man who breaks into homes. So far no one's been harmed but signs show that he's leaning towards that. The robbery detective whom they are working with, thinks he knows how the man thinks but unfortunately it caused him to have a breakdown. Crockett starts to do the same thing and Tubbs is worried.

Crockett and Tubbs are working on nailing a Bolivian drug dealer. When something goes wrong at the meeting, the Bolivian loses something very important to him and he won't deal until it's returned to him. They discover that an old man who was at the meeting has it. He tries to sell it back but the Bolivian won't agree to that. One of his people tries to get it back but the old man proves to be tough. Crockett and Tubbs offers to act his intermediary but the old man insists on being involved. They later learn that the old man is a Texas Ranger.

When Crockett and Tubbs go undercover to get a drug dealer, a man who works for the dealer, blows Tubbs cover. They discover that the man is Tubbs' former partner from New York. Years ago both of them were involved in a shoot out, and Tubbs' partner shot someone whom he claimed was armed but Tubbs couldn't corroborate his claim which would lead to his dismissal.

When a man who was suspected of killing Crockett's partner, who was eventually convicted and sentenced to death, whose about to be executed. A priest calls saying that someone claims that the man is innocent. When the priest refuses to say who it was. Crockett and Tubbs keep an eye on the church. They discover that the person was the key witness at the man's trial who claims he wanted to get back at him for something he did. When they bring to the D.A. who prosecuted the man, he is hesitant to help because, he is planning to run for public office.

When they are trying to take down a crooked boxing promoter, they ask Zito to ask his friend who's training an aspiring boxer to help. His friend agrees to help and takes it a little further by taking something from the promoter that is incriminating. So Zito's friend is killed and Zito becomes the boxer's new manager and the promoter wants the boxer but Zito refuses and the promoter doesn't take no for an answer.

Moon's death morphs into Larry Zito's death. The same crew that killed Moon kills Zito... but without leaving any physical evidence his death was murder. IAD rules Zito's death an OD, so the Vice crew wants to hit Guzman hard. Bobby goes voluntarily to Sordoni, Guzman's lawyer. As Switek mourns his BFF, Sonny, Rico and the girls go off the rails and do some business with Guillini, Guzman's biggest competition, to lure a snake, avenge Larry Zito and insure justice.

(You have to know the rules before you break them, right?) Before the buy can go down masked men infiltrate, kill Pedroza, and execute special ops that look more Quantico than Colombian. Sonny and Rico know some of the bad guys; the worse guys are Cuban paramilitary. The crew investigates and Castillo even puts his badge on the line to bring this case home.

Castillo is not the only one who recognizes the pattern; Inspector Trahn, appears in Miami and offers additional information ... and his help.

He also eventually discovers another woman he knew who is now with Calderone.

The partner of the cop who was killed is determined to find out what happened. And when he sees Tubbs with the cop, he follows him.

Crockett and Tubbs are at a high class party tracking a suspected money launderer called Symington. They lose him but Crockett meets a charming, attractive and mysterious businesswoman called Christine Von Marburg there. As for Symington, he visits his favorite elite prostitute Ali Ferrand only to be jumped by two hulking goons who throw him to his death. Ali witnesses this, so they go after her as well but she manages to escape and goes into hiding. The man behind Symington's death turns out to be one of his shady clients, a ruthless, no-nonsense businessman called Kenneth Togaru. Crockett and Tubbs must now find Ali before the goons do and their only hope for that is none other than Izzy, since she did some nude photo shoots in his makeshift studio. Meanwhile, Crockett contacts Christine and asks her out. They turn out to have great chemistry, which leads to a steamy, passionate romance. Unfortunately, he soon finds out that not only Christine is the owner of the elite Caprice Escort Service, but she's also tied directly to the case and Togaru himself.

The DEA admits to nothing, setting in motion an Internal Affairs investigation into Crockett himself.
