Julio Sanchez misrepresents the problem to buy a short court extension, after which it may blow up in his and DDA Rios's faces. Rusty shows up to study with pretty smart girl Kris Slater, intriguing the team enough to spy on them. Drunken Gibbs's alibi -- apart for the beer he stole by not paying -- is online/phone sex worker Shampagne, an old acquaintance whom Gibbs believes is responsive to his romantic overtures but who turns out to be more deeply involved, with a third party, in the whole matter than anyone realizes.

Rusty demands a third option, which avails Sharon to impose a concession.

In the meantime Rusty is being prepped to lure out the one who is threatening him.
