Whilst his bloodied thumb print is at the murder scene he has no recollection of events and his barrister claims innocence through automatism. However Alesha sees something which sets the case on another track entirely.

Witnesses name stroppy 13-year old Kaden Blake,runner for drug baron Mark Ellis and son of a cocaine-addicted single mother,as being on the balcony with a gun given him by Ellis to shoot another runner as an example. At first uncooperative Blake admits that Ellis coerced him into using the gun and it is the adult who stands trial. But after the verdict has been reached one of the law and order team falls victim to Ellis's pernicious influence.
