Laid

Laid is a series about sex. Sex and death. Death and valour. Life and love. For Roo, it's hard enough just trying to work out who she is and what it's all about without being dragged back to her chequered bedroom past to protect her exes - and preserve her chance at true love.

Season 2 Episode Guide See All

Episode #2.1

27 mins

Roo's world is turned upside down when she is introduced to Marcus, somebody stricken with a vaguely similar set of mysterious circumstances to the ones plaguing her - although Marcus, if it can be believed, is a little different from Roo. In fact, he is her opposite. Everybody he has sex with - is healed. With EJ as her somewhat reluctant co-pilot, Roo embarks upon a journey. A journey to convince a man who doesn't want to have sex with her that he must have sex with her. A journey to wipe the slate clean - emotionally, physically, spiritually. Along the way she and Roo encounter Parkies, halitosis, port wine stains, funerals, trial separations, couples bootcamp and one particularly appalling conversation about semen - all in the name of a cure. If EJ doesn't have enough to juggle, with Roo and her quest to bed Marcus, it seems Zach has forgotten all about their wedding plans, instead developing a rather acute Jesus complex. Believing his curse survivor status translates into Jesus mind powers, Zach attempts to master said powers. And it's not as easy as you may think. In fact, it's a confusing and deceptively complex process being the second coming of Christ. And so, it's no surprise when Zach apprentices himself to a reluctant Marcus. Add to this Roo's dad, Graham, taking up residence on the girls' couch following a tiff with Marion, and the girls find themselves with more than a full plate.
