Episode 1
42 mins
After the python left Caveman permanently injured, the mates still embark on a second season, starting in the US by comparing two scorpion species. They go catch them in Arizona, which proves easier then expected. Common wisdom is smaller scorpions have nastier venom to compensate for a weak bite, and indeed the minor stings as fiery as feared. The continent's giant however is an unpleasant surprise, as it actually inflicts a long-lasting pain, leaving them contorting in agony for over a week.

Still in California, he boys are excited to compare two lizard species. First the black lizard, which literature disputes whether it's actually poisonous, so the men are proud to solve that, but its bite proves formidable and painful, enough to fear the reputed number two. Finally the Mexican bearded lizard, cousin of the Gila monster, whose reputed poison can easily mutilate or even kill. It's very painfully just biting, but the venom works hellish wonders for several days, scoring second-only to the reticular python.

Still in California, the mates shiver at the prospect of three ant species, which usually means they deal for realism with some hundred bites from a whole bunch. First a fire ant, migrated from Latin America, which stings some 13 million Americans each year. It's extremely uncomfortable, even scary, but they soon realize it's not a matter of major pain, but the weird sensation of bugs swarming all over one's hand, so a mild rating compared to its reputation. Ironically, the more scary moment is their pheromones seem to activate a nearby wasps nest. Then a velvet ant, which looks like a furry wasp, large enough for one bite to suffice, which proves absolutely horrible. Finally a bunch of harvester ants, known to kill on occasion, who outperform their reputation: the boys are in agony for days.
Episode 5
Thu, Jun 23, 2022
Having suffered his own nightmare, tarantulas, Adam finds it time to expose Rob to his; centipedes. They program two American species, a small one, common yet relatively unknown, and the giant on the hemisphere. The small Common Desert Centipede is nasty, with a remarkable delayed effect, but doable. They and doc Abo duly worry about the risk with the Giant Desert Centipede, whose complex composite poison -differing by various factors- can easily be fatal. It has them in agony for a record time, scoring highest of all bugs so far.
Episode 6
Thu, Jun 30, 2022
The boys brave three inconspicuous bugs that frequently cause unsuspecting people poisonous pains near home in the US. First the Horrid King Assassin Bug, then the flightless Jerusalem Cricket, both much nastier then they look, but not too harmful despite impressive pain, scoring scarily high. Finally the Brown Widow Spider, living up 'toxically' to being closely related to the generally feared black widow, also potentially lethal.
Episode 7

The boys reluctantly start dealing with aquatic critters in aquariums. The Disney-popular blue tang fish proves no mermaid playmate but a nasty poisoned needle-stabber. The multi-color peacock mantis shrimp atypically hurts them with record)-fast blows of his hammer-like legs. Finally the ray-finned double-bar rabbit fish.
Episode 8
Thu, Jul 14, 2022
Rob and Adam test the Yellow Head Moray Eel for possible venom effects, but must resort to a risky, bloody bite. But venom is not the issue for their next animal: the Electric Eel. The results are positively shocking.
Episode 9
Thu, Jul 21, 2022
The boys' patriotic banter soon dies down as small sharks which use spikes instead of biting prove scary and painful. The Aussie candidate, the Port Jackson, is reputed maybe venomous, but they find no toxic symptoms, yet find the fast, sharp, deep sting delivers a real pain which can last a few hours. The Californian Horn shark is known poisonous, but his venom proves weak and his sting short, so he scores low, while neither causes real damage. Adam wins the wager but generously hands Caveman his prize too.
Episode 10
Thu, Jul 28, 2022
*After having forced their respective nightmares on each-other, the boys are physically weathered when called to the season finale, which comprises two atypical, yet particularly scary aquatic animals. First, each must put his hand in a bunch of unidentified species of small bristle worms, including the dreaded fire worms, which release countless thin, spiky, poisonous bristles, which prove relatively harmless but insufferably annoying, as removing theme proves a lasting nightmare. Finally, the striped catfish, the small kind which lives at corals and is popular in aquariums, whose owners often ignore it's dangerous. The tiny spikes on its finds prove more then razor-sharp, instantly delivering a small, yet terrifying dose of venom. After a few minutes, the boys are in excruciating pain for hours, yet can't give a maximal score due to 'insulting' lack of damage.
