The kings start their Mexican adventure in a desert so dry it outdoes South Africa, to catch two stinging insects. First the harvester ant, which combines a pincer bite with tail-injected venom. As those rarely leave the colony, the boys catch and expose their arms to bunches of ants, who inflect more pain and damage then they feared. Next the tarantula hawk, a wasp which paralyzes bird spider to be eaten alive when its injected eggs hatch, also a worse sting then its cousins. Finally they dive in the sea for the crown-of-thorns, a huge starfish covered in toxic arms, again covering their arms with many nasty wounds, which even bleed and contort the limbs worse the dreaded.

In Africa, Adam and Caveman Rob search for the Nile Monitor Lizard and the Velvet Ant but are attacked by an even deadlier animal and are lucky to escape with their lives. The guys experience a brutal bite that makes them question their mission.

On Indonesia's idyllic island of Bali, the boys seek two stinger sin the water. In the shallow lives the insectivore rove beetle, whose sting terrorizes them way beyond what they expected from such a small critter. In the ocean lives the truly redoubtable sea urchin,several of whose spines are generally triggered together at contact, so they each press on an arm, and find its reputation for devilish pain deserved.

Big Box of Pain

The boys venture into the Amazon to face two iconic horror biters. The bullet ant, realistically a number of them, has a nasty sting, but not quite living up to its horrible reputation. The 'bellied piranha' is the first creature they let actually take a meaty bite out of their arms, rather then inject venom, which terrifies them even more, but it actually scores rather low.

Adam and Caveman Rob wrap up the season in Indonesia, with the two worst bites to date, from a Giant Asian Centipede and a 16-foot Reticulated Python. Vomiting, stitches, and rivers of blood make them ask if they are able to continue their research.

They reveal behind the scenes their boyish bond with macho-nationalist Aussie-American rivalry and linguistic divide within English. Also some accidents, private pepper challenges and 'bonus bites' by other species, not featured in the season episodes, including a misleadingly cute lori and the tokey gecko.
