Johnny Carson
Johnny Carson hosted a number of short-lived series in Los Angeles television market in 1953, and this comedy-variety talk show was one of them. Not to be confused with the similarly titled 1955 national television, "Johnny Carson" aired Monday nights on KNXT at ten for 13 weeks before being canceled.

According to TV Tele-Vues by Terry Vernon in the April 6th, 1953 Long Beach Independent: Johnny's new show comes equipped with built-in sponsors so he should be able to get quite a bit of good mileage this time around. He will be a successful young comic and grow old in the business if he follows his original format of lampooning (nicely) some of our ways of life. Tonight he takes a wack at 3D movies and does a take-off of "Needle of The Press."
