Each episode of this reality television series features the story of a different guest who is having difficulty dealing with various personal troubles. Life coach Iyanla Vanzant works with the guests, including Chris Brown's ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran, two gay pastors struggling to keep a secret from their community, and a former model obsessed with her beauty routines, throughout the course of each episode in order to help them address the ongoing issues in their lives and find a way to move forward.
