George and Gordon are middle-aged gay lovers, Suzy and April ware prostitutes, Mr. Morse is a grouchy old man, Jackie is a young tomboy, Mrs. Bellotti is an eccentric woman with a never-seen psychotic son Moose who once glued himself to the ceiling, and Charles is a wise Black man. Bill is the hotel's desk clerk, and Clifford is its young manager.
