Here Come the Brides

To avoid losing their logging crew, the Bolt brothers bring 100 prospective brides from New Bedford, Massachusetts to Seattle, Washington, using money borrowed from sawmill owner Stempel. Should one of the girls decide to go home, or should they fail to meet Stempel's timber quotas, they will still lose their mountain to him.

A professional gambler arrives in Seattle and the loggers are immediately seduced into the world of gambling. Aaron Stempel tries to use the town charter to stop the gambling so Jason counters by holding the games on Clancey's ship. What Jason doesn't know is that Stempel himself has invited them to Seattle in another attempt to break the Bolt Brothers. Calamity strikes when Clancey loses the ship in a poker game. The Bolts will have to bet high stakes in order to win it back.

Letter of the Law

Claude Dupre and his trappers are down from the mountains and desperate for some female companionship. They are attempting to break into the brides' dorm when they are met by the Bolt brothers and Aaron Stempel. Soon a huge brawl erupts between the two factions only to be stopped by the appearance of Sheriff Emmett Wade. He is a no nonsense law officer hired by Seattle to restore law and order. He assumes the job and his iron hand of justice comes down so hard that it's not order he's brought to Seattle but oppression. Jason and Aaron will have to work together to keep their friends out of jail and get rid of Sheriff Wade while staying within the letter of the law.
