She is in favour of accelerated dating but she is too aggressive for Billy Bob. He asks Madeline for help but they all pitch in. They all give him the same advice and they say he should act like a woose and not seem so strong. When he says he likes Barry Manilow it is the last straw.

Madeline's ex husband is getting married and it reminds her of how upset she was with the way he treated her. She wants to get even with him. Strippers, dead fish and a fake radio dedication are just some of the things Madeline, Georgie and Lonnie do to him. The final plan is for Madeline to jump out of a cake at his bachelor party - what could go wrong? When Georgie says that she dated Warren Beatty for three months, John becomes jealous. Ben, Elliot and Carson do a satirical play sending up the adults and their antics.

The local scout troop is full so John, Billy Bob and Lonnie volunteer to be the leaders of a new troop. They decide to take them on a camp but the boys have allergies, need medication and are constantly moaning.

Georgie's pregnancy is progressing but Elliot is not happy and is becoming jealous of the new baby girl. Lonnie is in a car accident, hit by cars being driven by Billy Bob and Madeline. As he needs assistance, the Hartmans put him up in a bed set up in the lounge. Lonnie turns out to not be the easiest of patients to look after. John notices that the children are suddenly spending a lot of money and needs to find out where they got it from.

John and Billy Bob are thinking about joining a private men's club called GPDN and Georgie is not happy. They convince Lonnie to go undercover with a recording device to find out about the club with the offer of a date with a woman. It becomes a bit of an anticlimax when they find out what GPDN actually stands for. When John and Billy Bob find Lonnie's tape recorder, they decide to play a practical joke on Georgie. This backfires when she prints the information in the newspaper.

Rush Limbaugh is coming to town on a book-signing tour and Georgie writes an editorial critical of him, which seems to upset most of the town. Rush rings up Georgie and wants to meet her and debate with her on the radio. There turns about to be a mutual attraction between them that comes out in the interview. Georgie ends up inviting Rush to stay at their house. Lonnie is going to the local school's prom to take photographs, and John and Georgie were also going. However, he feigns illness and Georgie goes with Rush.

Love in the Afternoon

John is standing for the local school board and the family are working hard for him to be elected. The Hartman's have a party with John's Aunt Grace and Billy Bob's mother livening it up but also making it very crowded. When John and Georgie, looking for some privacy, make out in a store dressing room they get arrested. This changes a number of things and also means he doesn't get elected.

The Big Yes

Madeline is given the opportunity to inspect a time-share resort. She offers to take John, Georgie and Billy Bob for holiday. What John and Billy Bob weren't told is that it is a singles resort and that they will have four other singles with them. They also have to complete a number of activities in order to get their return plane tickets. Things get worse when they do a computer check and find out John and Georgie are married. Unfortunately, it is up to Lonnie to save them.
