But this theory turns out not to be true. It's mourners with expensive cars who fall victim to the burglaries via an owner query. But: This data can only be accessed by people with access to the system, like the officers at Police Station 14. Is there a mole among them?

Helmut Husmann is newly in love - with a tabloid reporter, of all people. Helmut's sentimentality puts not only the investigation but also Julian in danger.

A car crashes into a tree in the middle of a park - it's a rather strange accident scene that Harry Möller and Nils Sanchez are called to. The license plate check leads the two plainclothes detectives to a youth hostel where educator Peter Vöth is already missing his car. 15-year-old Lars Beckert has "borrowed" it - but for much more than a joyride. Suddenly, Harry and Nils are on the trail of far more serious criminal activities by the teenagers. It could hardly be more fitting that Daniel Schirmer is motivating the PK 14 team to take part in this year's police run: For every kilometer run, the police union will donate money to organizations that support child and youth welfare. The stated goal is a marathon distance that everyone should complete together. The wristbands distributed digitally record the kilometers traveled. The fact that the sections run are also available online was not clear to the watchman Helmut Husmann, and this puts him in serious trouble.

Harry Möller and Nils Sanchez suspect Lisa Maric, who broke into the fraternity's premises for research purposes and has a well-founded hatred of fraternities, is behind the attack. At the same time, Nina Sieveking and Lukas Petersen have to deal with 18-year-old Johannes Vogt, who first smashes the window of an allotment garden shed with his bare fist for no reason and then unexpectedly attacks Lukas at the end of the interrogation. Nina's instinct tells her: Vogt is provoking offenses in order to remain in police custody. But why?

Twister

It was his best friend Nils Sanchez, of all people, who caught him back then: Sammy is still serving his sentence. It's all the more surprising that another robbery in "Twister" style is suddenly committed - on the very day Sammy is due to be released, as it turns out. Nils finds himself in a difficult conflict between friendship and police work: Should he betray his once best friend again? Ms. Küppers is also caught up in her past. Interviewed by Helmut Husmann and Daniel Schirmer for the police magazine about her 15th anniversary of service, the head of PK 14 unexpectedly evades the question about her first assignment. Helmut doesn't let up and discovers that Ms. Küppers was working undercover at the time. During this assignment, she also had to hand over someone very close to her.

Falsches Spiel

Things get pretty heated: Not only at the girls' rugby match, where Vanessa and Lea are playing, but also in the conflict with their classmates Lennard and Moritz. The argument culminates in a physical altercation, which Nina Sieveking and Lukas Petersen begin investigating. They stumble upon the fact that Vanessa only started school six months ago, and no one knows why she left her old school so quickly. A burglar raking leaves and repairing the garden fence: Harry Möller and Nils Sanchez have never encountered anything like that before. The affected homeowner, Greta von Lüdersdorf, certainly hasn't. Apparently, the caretaker services are in return for the burglar staying overnight in the garden shed without permission. A curious case, but Harry and Nils nevertheless track down the solution.

Blitzbirnen und Autobumser

Hamburg's "cleverest criminals" are known as "Blitzbirnen" (Blitzbirnen): Tim Dunker and Bülent Erol, who grew up together in a foster family and, in their inimitable stuffiness, are also brothers in spirit. For Harry Möller, they are old acquaintances. When Tim is reported for stealing a sack of potatoes from a supermarket - just the sack, not the potatoes, mind you - she suspects that the next disaster is imminent. And sure enough: Tim and Bülent have set out to kidnap Hamburg cult singer Jan Delay. In the process, they are involved in a traffic accident with Mine Aydim. During Mine's interrogation, Lukas Petersen and Daniel Schirmer determine that the fleeing opponents must be the kidnappers - this brings the State Criminal Police Office (LKA) into action in PK 14. The two patrol officers also notice that Mine is involved in a conspicuously high number of traffic accidents.

But then the Beet villa is broken into. Only those who know the family well could have known about the stolen goods - Harry Möller and Nils Sanchez, too, immediately suspect Ronny. But that would be almost too easy - and it is. Lukas Petersen and Daniel Schirmer are also dealing with a theft: various parts and the toolbox were stolen from a boat, but the high-quality multimedia system remained intact. Very unusual. It turns out that the perpetrator was riding a fat bike - a child's size. For Lukas and Daniel, this case becomes increasingly baffling.

Daniel Schirmer, for his part, is not only suffering from Nina's departure from PK 14, but can also barely bear her and Lukas's young happiness. He must realize that love means one thing above all: being able to let go.

Auf den Hund gekommen

While Lukas Petersen mourns the loss of his ex-partner Nina Sieveking, the PK 14 team is already speculating about which of the three candidates will be her successor: Will it be the rural Bente Hinrichs from Dithmarschen or Lukas's abusive acquaintance Lena, with whom he was trained together? The bright, nerdy Ayla, whom Mrs. Küppers is enthusiastic about, is emerging as the favorite. She's considerably less enthusiastic about the dog that followed Helmut Husmann. As it turns out, "Rudi" belongs to an elderly lady who bought the animal at great expense online as a supposed breeding dog. But Rudi is a Romanian stray dog. Lukas and Helmut Husmann investigate and end up in a kennel run by Helmut's childhood sweetheart, Johanna. Old feelings resurface - until the investigation into the illegal dog trade makes progress. The argument between two metal detectorists, who suspect each other of stealing a valuable ancient coin from the Elbe beach, seems bizarre. They have no idea what's really behind the disappearance of the gold piece. Ms. Küppers, for her part, realizes at the end of the application round that she has no choice. Following orders from above, she must hire the candidate she considers the least capable.

Episode 14

Herzlich willkommen

Bente Hinrichs' first day at PK 14 doesn't get off to a particularly pleasant start: On her way to work, a cyclist harasses her. Then her friend, who lives with her, asks her to move out as soon as possible. And at the police station, Bente has to prove that she's not the country bumpkin she's thought to be. When she and Lukas Petersen pick up the injured Linda while on patrol, Bente suspects that the young woman isn't telling her the truth about the cause of her injury. However, Bente manages to gain the ex-drug addict's trust. Her employer has tangled with a shady client from the same social scene, who is also threatening Linda and her boyfriend. All three work at a car cleaning company and discovered traces of blood in the shady man's vehicle. The scam of fake police officers who rob elderly people of their belongings is no longer new, but it's still successful. Mrs. Küppers can hardly believe that anyone would fail to recognize this threat despite warnings - until she meets Mrs. Stöcklein. The old woman proves resistant to arguments. Nevertheless, she cannot escape Mrs. Küppers and her rescue attempt.

Mein großer Freund Fred

Bente Hinrichs and Lukas Petersen catch nine-year-old Benji stealing groceries. The boy claims the frozen spinach and carrots are for his big friend Fred. But he doesn't exist, as the officers learn from Benji's father. Since his mother moved to Canada, the child has apparently escaped into a fantasy world. His father, who is in poor health, is overwhelmed by the situation. Despite Lukas' objections, Bente follows her instinct and discovers that "Fred" is Benji's missing older sister, Frederike. And she is in great distress... Nils Sanchez and Harry Möller, meanwhile, are called to a hotel for a strange case. A chambermaid has found a guest unconscious and with a bleeding head wound. The man is not at all happy that the police want to know how the injury occurred. He had been expecting an interlude with a young lady until he discovered a hidden camera in his hotel room that he shouldn't have discovered: The videos were intended to blackmail him. A trail from the mastermind behind it leads to Frederike.

Taxi, Taxi

The traced cab of Martha contains traces of contaminated meth; granddaughter Luana is suspect. Cab driver Karlo and person transporter Ralf accuse each other of sabotage. Taxi driver Wieslaw intentionally draws a murder suspect on himself.
