She faces the confrontation with the children of her deceased best friend and admits that she abandoned Tobias and Sina after their mother's death. When it turns out that Sina is developing criminal energy to help her brother, this is the chance for the police station head to make amends.

The colleagues at PK 14 have long known that Daniel Schirmer is a smart guy. Now he is even proving it publicly: as a candidate on the show "The Evening Quiz" with presenter Yared Dibaba. And indeed - Daniel wins 3000 euros. However, it turns out that the cash prize money is fake. Nina Sieveking and Lukas Petersen take up the trail on the studio premises and try to track down the fraud between the catering truck, props and television production halls. While quiz questions about counterfeit money become a running joke at the police station - and especially between Daniel and his new colleague Helmut Husmann - and quickly top up the coffee fund, Harry Möller and Nils Sanchez are looking for the sender of ominous love letters from the Dominican Republic. Astrid Rath receives them from her ex-girlfriend, who died two years ago.

The traces of the Iddensen train accident outside Hamburg, which left 15 people dead and hundreds injured, are still digging deep into people's souls six months later. Ina Brückner and Marion Söndermann also lost a loved one in the accident. One of them seriously injured a railway employee during the demonstration to mark the sixth month of pregnancy. The women, who are now close friends, both take the blame. But that is not the only thing that irritates Nina Sieveking and Daniel Schirmer. Nina is adamant that Marion Söndermann is hiding something and this leads her into a conflict with Mrs Küppers, who sticks to the facts. The fact that three little boys are waving 200 euro notes in a hi-fi shop rightly makes owner Carlo suspicious. Harry Möller and Nils Sanchez look into the matter and their investigations actually lead them to the Iddensen train accident. But they manage to set the course anew.

Episode 4

Niemand darf es wissen

Harry Möller and Nils Sanchez are called to an accident: The student Florian Rösner was apparently deliberately hit - also according to witness statements. The license plate of the van leads to a dry cleaners run by a family of Afghan origin. Khaled Faqiri and his son Ramin react irritably to the visit of the officials and daughter Samira is also only partially approachable. It quickly becomes clear to Harry and Nils: There is a serious family conflict here. Meanwhile, Helmut Husmann is enthusiastically decorating the desks of his colleagues and even that of Mrs Küppers, whose enthusiasm for more "hygge" tends towards zero. The working atmosphere of dominatrix Athene Lührsen has also deteriorated acutely since a regular customer succumbed to a heart attack on her torture bench. Nina Sieveking and Lukas Petersen must now mediate between her and the widow as to who can keep the deceased's budgie.

Königs Tochter

Nowadays, not only the Czech Republic but also Holland is considered a stronghold of the production of crystal meth, a dangerous drug that people of all classes are addicted to. Robert Sehlmann is supposed to transport a van with a load of drugs from Holland to Hamburg. When he arrives in the Hanseatic city, the investigators from PK 14 are immediately on his heels - but Sehlmann and his accomplices Ginger and Ceylin manage to escape. As it turns out, the drug courier is an undercover agent from Berlin who has infiltrated the scene. But Harry Möller senses that this is not his only assignment. How does he know State Councilor Christian König, who reports to the Hamburg Interior Senator? The complications take on political proportions when König's daughter Martha comes into play. She is so bored with her life of luxury that she can only endure it by taking drugs.

Episode 6

Wahrheit oder Pflicht

When the two discover that Lukas is also a police officer, they race away. Lukas struggles with the incident. He decides to file a complaint against the two officers. But by doing so, he not only endangers the reputation of the police, but also his upcoming promotion to chief inspector. The guard Helmut Husmann starts a game of "Truth or Dare" within the team and finds it extremely amusing when his colleagues have to complete pointless tasks. But for others, the game becomes bitterly serious at the same time: The teenagers Sammi and Chayenne shamelessly exploit the weakness and naivety of their bullying victim Justin by forcing him to commit criminal acts as part of his "duty".

Robbed gas stations; a trace leads to brothers Veit and disabled racer Tom. Lukas overprotects his disabled brother Jo. Daniel feels inferior when he hasn't the highest IQ-score. Elisabeth gives away money to the poor; she gets robbed.

Episode 8

Die Kunst zu kämpfen

Nils Sanchez actually wants to give the kids one opportunity during Taekwondo training - to let off steam. When the father of his student Anton is attacked, suspicion quickly falls on the boss. Nils and Harry Möller investigate the matter and have to prevent the teenager from taking the wrong path out of anger and despair. The aspiring local politician Hedda Grotelüschen also needs a push in the right direction. Mrs. Küppers admires the young woman for her commitment and even recognizes a little of herself in her. So the damaged and smeared election posters become the boss's business and Mrs. Küppers has no choice but to get personal. At PK 14, Daniel Schirmer takes it quite personally that Robert Sehlmann is apparently too good to clear away his dirty coffee cups. Daniel competes with Helmut Husmann to temporarily re-educate his colleague.

Königs Fall

Robert Sehlmann continues to work as an undercover investigator in the PK 14 team. Much to the annoyance of Harry Möller, who has little faith in his colleague's loyalty. The first success against the gang that distributes large quantities of the drug crystal meth in Hamburg has evaporated: the smuggling and dealing continues. Martha König, daughter of State Councilor Christian König, is also apparently involved in the machinations again. In order to cover for his daughter, König even puts pressure on the station manager Mrs. Küppers. But the officers from the "big city station" fight back and are now investigating even more intensively. By chance, the homeless Onna becomes the most important witness in this case, which puts her life in acute danger. Robert Sehlmann has to decide: for the law or Martha, with whom he is in love. The police officer only realizes that her heart belongs to someone else when it is almost too late.
