Teddy decides to try out for cheerleading so that she can go on a trip to Oahu, Hawaii. Teddy's try out for the team doesn't go to well because she didn't watch Kelsey's full performance. Teddy convinces to coach to give her another chance and the coach allows her to cheer at the cross country team. Teddy is allowed to be on the team, but she becomes dismayed that she is going to Ohio instead of Oahu. Teddy buys a US puzzle set so that Kelsey can pronounce the names properly. Meanwhile, Gabe and PJ must babysit Toby. At the park, Gabe makes a bet with PJ to sit on the baby swing in exchange for a cheeseburger, but PJ gets stuck in the baby swing. Elsewhere, Bob must drop off Charlie at pre-school, but he keeps violating the dress code repeatedly, causing Emily to banish Bob from the premises.

When Bob and PJ make it to the concert, it comes to an end, they both get into car trouble again, AVM takes Bob and PJ back home on their tour bus. Meanwhile, Gabe takes a young boy under his wing to prank his fourth-grade teacher, but Gabe gets an unusual surprise about the prank.

Gabe reluctantly takes Mrs. Dabney to the movies with him, but she starts acting obnoxious and they both get kicked out. PJ babysits Charlie and Toby, she helps PJ with a baking lesson, he becomes pleased with Charlie's cake.

Gabe and Jake convince the photographer to remove the photo of Toby, on the condition that they get photographed for delicious pastries.

Meanwhile, Amy arranges a play date for Charlie and Taylor, she and Bob soon learn that Taylor is the daughter of a lesbian couple.
