It does, however, suit Gabe and Mrs. Dabney just fine, who want nothing more than to be rid of each other. Meanwhile, Teddy and Spencer audition to play the roles of George and Martha Washington in the Patriotic Plaza in Super Adventure Land.

Meanwhile, PJ goes on a date with a girl he has met, but he learns that his date is homeschooled. Teddy and Spencer go to PJ and Taylor's prom, Bob and Amy also arrive at the celebration. Teddy comes clean about the dress and she tells her mom that the dress looks better on her. Meanwhile, Bob wants to learn about the baby's gender, but Amy wants to be surprised. Gabe comes up with a plan to get the ultra-sound from the doctor. When Bob and Gabe watch the video, they assume that they are having triplets, due to the mix up the family won't have any triplets.

Teddy and Spencer secretly star in a play, they try to hide it from Amy, but she finds out about the play and she becomes heartbroken. Meanwhile, Gabe accompanies Bob to the lake to capture an anaconda, but Bob gets into unwanted competition with Quint, who also wants to capture the anaconda. Mitch enlists PJ to find out who has been stealing the chicken and he tries to interrogate Justin, Val, and Big Lenny. PJ comes up empty and he finds out that his boss is stealing the chicken from the surveillance footage.

Teddy agrees to spend time with her paternal grandmother. Linda gives Teddy and Charlie a makeover, she also joins Teddy on her date with Spencer. Meanwhile, Mrs. Dabney gives PJ and Gabe an old box of toys and comic books. PJ and Gabe find a letter containing buried treasure, they dig up Mrs. Dabney's backyard so they can find the treasure, but they soon realize they were tricked into digging a hole so that Mrs. Dabney can have a hot tub. PJ and Gabe soon get back at Mrs. Dabney by putting green food coloring in her hot tub, part of her body becomes green.

Meanwhile, PJ and Gabe must babysit Charlie, but she sneaks out of the house and she plays her favorite game with Mrs. Dabney. However, Bob notices Charlie's escape, Gabe and PJ bribe their father with a pie. Mrs. Dabney takes Charlie back home after she leaves the house again and Bob childproofs the house to prevent Charlie from escaping. Elsewhere, Teddy and Victor compete in a Student U.N. competition against Victoria, but at the same time, Teddy must look after Toby during the competition. Teddy and Victor win the U.N. competition after they sing to Toby.

Meanwhile, Teddy plans her anniversary with Spencer, she has PJ cook a French dinner for them, the cuisine tastes terrible for the couple and Teddy becomes upset at Spencer for not committing to their relationship. Spencer apologizes to Teddy and despite everything that has happened to them in the past, they can still try to make their relationship work. Teddy and Spencer's romantic moment is soon ruined when neighboring clowns start to attack them, leaving PJ traumatized over the ordeal. Meanwhile, Gabe is tricked by Mrs. Dabney to attend a charity event.

Also, PJ has to babysit Charlie and Toby, but he and Emmett run a babysitting service behind their land lady's back. PJ and Emmett try to hide Charlie and the rest of the children from Verna, but they end up getting in trouble.

Gabe does a report about his neighbor, Bert, about being an astronaut when he was actually a mail man. Gabe tries to get PJ to pretend to be Bert, but it ends badly for Gabe and he is forced to interview his neighbor for real, it becomes really boring for him.
