Episode 1
Haskap
At a distillery just outside Saskatoon, Jenn discovers what makes haskap berries unique and how their bright, tangy flavour transforms into gin. She then helps to bottle a haskap spread and learns how the berry can shine in both a savoury dish and a sweet finale.
Episode 2
Peas
Jenn visits the Axtens on their regenerative farm to learn how peas are intercropped with wheat and why they are so important to soil health. She then discovers how the legume can be used in a bold pea-based hot sauce before transforming it into a rich, satisfying pasta sauce with the owners of Solo Italia.
Episode 3
Sage
Jenn meets Robyn and Josh, who grow produce in tunnels, to learn how sage is cultivated in a northern climate. She then spends time with Elder Archie to understand the deep Indigenous connections to sage before travelling to Estevan, where Laurie teaches her how to cook with sage and they share a meal together.

Beets
