Now the Ramones project fell through, the boys decide to start looking for a better agent than Ari. While Lloyd fails to sabotage their quest, Ari gets confirmation that studio boss Allen Grey wants revenge on him and Vince. Telling Bob this information costs Dana Gordon her job, which makes Bob doubt if he still wants to work in Hollywood. Meanwhile the boys find even Josh Weinstein's efforts are less impressive than they hoped. Vince decides on a test.

Vince, Eric and Ari finally try to get "Medellin" off the ground. They meet with Yair and Nika Marx to get them to produce it. Problems evolve when Nika seems to be a little bit more interested in Vince than she should. Turtle meets with a girl whom he wants to spend the day with, but her father is very strict.

Nick Rubinstein steps in as a producer for "Medellin". Since there is still not enough money for producing a complete motion picture, the search for a good director who knows how to keep the movie-making process cheap begins. After Eric has moved in with Sloan, Turtle and Drama search for a new apartment, but their budget is quite small.
