World famous and renowned oenologist Yutaka Kanzaki has died of cancer. However before his death, he masterminds a competition for inheritance between his biological son Shizuku Kanzaki and his adopted son Issei Tomine. He leaves behind twelve envelopes, all containing a description of a different wine, the twelve apostles, finally leading them to the discovery of a celestial wine, a wine truly unique, The Drops of God. From these descriptions, they will have to search across the globe for each wine, and then the winner will be the only heir. This duel is a quest, one that will bring them closer to their father and their own truth.
