Barbie Girls

Julia is refreshed after her holiday, but needs to appoint a new partner now Greg had moved to Copenhagen. Taran says he is ill, so Donna asks Joe to take a look at him. George treats a teenage girl who's suffering after a Botox injection.

Red, White & Blue

Donna promises Taran she will solve his bullying problem. Tensions over who will get the position of new partner ramp up. Nick sees a mixed race couple keen to blame each other for contracting hepatitis, then a tattoo turns out to be key.

Episode 3

Fairies at the End of the Garden

Donna asks Joe's advice after angrily confronting the bully's mum. Jimmi makes a house call to Joe's patient, but doesn't get through the front door. George is mysteriously happy and another doctor expresses an interest in the partnership.

A World Away

Ronnie takes on a photography-mad client, who feels he has been treated unfairly because of his Aspergers. Donna and Ash clash. One doctor turns down the partnership and another checks their finances. Donna doesn't listen to Joe's advice.

Chemistry

Donna is mortified after her fight. Jimmi clashes with a chemistry teacher, when he has a patient suffering burns after an accident. The partnership is finally offered and accepted, leaving someone feeling badly let-down.

Opportunity Knocks

Jimmi gets involved when two brothers are not sharing caring responsibilities equally; this gives him an excuse to swerve the announcement of Nick as the new partner. Donna chats to the bully's father. George makes her big announcement.

Social Disease

Ronnie is invited to play golf by his boss. Michelle gets involved in her patient's neighbour problem and doesn't take things at face value. George explains her ideas about holistic medicine to the partners, not all of whom are impressed.

Is You Is

Joe has a schoolgirl patient, who thinks being pregnant, like her best mate, is the answer to all her problems. Donna is frantic about Taran's bullying problem. George is too cross with Ronnie to ask why he resigned, till Nick has a word.

Bitter Medicine

Donna takes a new approach to solve Taran's bullying problem. Michelle confirms a pregnancy for a delighted pharmacist and Jimmi treats the woman who is refusing to divorce the father-to-be and let him move on. Donna starts a risky plan.

Born and Bread

Nick gives positive test results to the granddaughter of a baker, stressed over saving his business. Jimmi is lumbered with paperwork, while the partners lunch together. Donna meets Darren's dad to hand over the files she printed out.

Paper Tiger

A stationary rep at The Mill ends up needing help. Joe owns up to Julia that he led Jimmi to resign and has to sort it out. Michelle plans a party for her parents. George begins giving acupuncture treatments. Donna may regret her actions.

Personal Services

Nick treats a male escort, who says he has heartburn, but soon returns: admitting to a more job-related problem. On Donna's day off with Ash, Sharon Harland comes to The Mill, shouting that someone has passed her medical records to her ex.

Fear and Loathing

Michelle's plans for her parents' party go awry and Donna thinks she's seen a dead body. Jimmi has an offensive patient, who seems to have a phobia. The partners meet to consider if Donna had breached patient confident, then question her.

Episode 14

Bringing Up Baby

Ronnie tries to do the right thing in a custody case, before he leaves to set up business on his own. The partners argue if what Donna did was justified, then make a decision about her future. Michelle's parents' party ends with a shock.

Divided Loyalties

Michelle is at work, despite her dad's sudden death. Nick sees a man going to great lengths to stop his fiancee meeting his parents, who are Nick's patients. Jimmi is still sulking, despite Julia trying to give him extra responsibilities..

Serendipity

George takes Bracken to a party, where the entertainer is a hypochondriac patient of hers with yet another health concern: he has swallowed an engagement ring.

Sick Note

Joe sees a girl pretending to have RSI, but eventually he finds out what she really needs. Michelle and her mum get through the funeral in different ways. The latest temp replacing Donna is useless and Julia gets a good idea from Jimmi.

Shadows

Without a receptionist, Julia barely has time to pop to the loo. She looks up an exacting ex-colleague, who was full time carer for her mum, till she died and now Julia is worried. Adam, from the funeral, gets back in touch with Michelle.

Episode 19

Ice in the Blood

On his last day, Ronnie's firm has a promo piece in the paper and he ends up involved in some investigative journalism. Vivien comes to look round but Julia, instead, interviews her for the job. Michelle's bereaved mum finally breaks down.

Episode 20

Green Pastures

Vivien starts work and puts some backs up. An Australian arrives ready to marry Joe - but he had no idea what she is talking about: a reluctant patient holds the key. Michelle worries about her mum. Jimmi feels more undervalued than ever.

Angel

Ronnie has one day as a househusband and buys himself a present, which upsets George greatly. A mum with a crying baby comes in to The Mill and one of George's patients helps and is helped.

The wife of a hypochondriac at The Mill yet again in his pyjamas, is having a fling with her young gardener. The husband believes he's going to die. Vivien is still ruffling feathers, especially Jimmi's. Michelle and Adam go dancing.

Serving Time

Joe tries to tackle Jimmi about his OCD flare up. Michelle treats a chef, who is turning down an opportunity to go to Paris, then gets criticised by Vivienne for pushing Adam away. Jimmi feels he is treated as a joke and has had enough.

Made to Order

Joe sees a pregnant couple, with a sick child, who are agonizing over decisions they've made with this IVF pregnancy. Jimmi is infuriating Julia, so Nick suggests they call his bluff over his resignation. Surprisingly, Vivien lends a hand.

George gives test results to a man, but his wife glimpses something troubling on her screen. Joe had a dissatisfied patient, who turns to George for an alternative. Michelle visits Adam at work, but needs a change of clothes.

Nick treats a young rugby hopeful, who is desperate to get his absent father to return. Vivien tells George what she really thinks about her complimentary treatments. Michelle is falling for Adam and Julia is happy for her.

Julia visits a friend, fund raising for her dead son's genetic condition and worries about the effect on her living sons. Joe and George are still both treating the same patient and call a truce. Michelle is upset that Jimmi's resigned.

Jimmi meets a Romanian woman, who needs treatment after fleeing a relationship. Vivien faces the angry father of a 16 year old on the pill, who insists on seeing her doctor. Julia takes Jimmi to lunch and his day goes from bad to worse.

Jimmi wakes up in jail and the thief is in a swanky hotel using his stolen card. He reluctantly agrees to assist. Vivien is confident she can handle Kelsey's angry dad. Michelle's mum reacts strangely when she sees her daughter with Adam.

The reason Julia has been smiling recently is revealed. George makes a house call, where a wedding photo is key. Nick gets a very tempting offer from a fellow traveller.

Joe treats a boy having an asthma attack after bad news about his school place: his pushy mum sees it as a way to appeal the decision. Nick and Jimmi both set their sights on the police surgeon job. Michelle's mum quizzes her about Adam.

Vivien is involved when her neighbours cause a disturbance in the middle of the night. She takes sides in the contest for the FME job. Michelle and Adam are closer than ever, despite her mum's intervention. But they are in for a shock.

It is Jimmy's 30th birthday: the staff have a whip round and a care-home worker gives him her number. Joe checks on Michelle, but she drinks to forget her problems. Jimmi has an eventful evening despite not wanting his birthday drinks do.

Eyebrows are raised when Nick drops off Gabby before work and Jimmi seems to know why Michelle will not be in to work. Nick treats a Muslim girl struggling with her identity and a grieving father. Michelle's mum tries again to make amends.

Samaritan

Michelle is still hiding out at Jimmi's and he organizes counselling for her. On the way she witnesses 2 strangers give CPR to a man on the street. There are mixed views at Vivien's review. Jimmi gets good news, so the staff go for drinks.

Victim Support

After George and Nick's crash, Gabby is furious and George, blames herself. Adam and Michelle meet up and decide how to move on. An 18 year old patient turns up at Joe's wanting answers, then Joe gets a call from a dodgy looking, Daniel.

Bodies at Rest and in Motion

Nick, still in hospital, gets a visit from a helpful Vivien. Joe gets a call from his sister in Greece about Daniel, who has gone missing. George treats a painter hurt in a fall, but cannot stop reliving the crash. Will Nick walk again?

Episode 41

Pennies from Heaven

Jimmi is back and ready to be an FME. Daniel is staying with his uncle Joe and gives him a sob story and borrows money. Michelle makes a house call to a woman with a widowed neighbour who talks non-stop. Joe offers Daniel the locum job.

Straight Bat

Nick pushes himself too hard to get back on his feet and Gabby has to keep her worries hidden. Joe treats a professional cricketer with something to hide. Daniel gets a tour of The Mill, but Julia needs a reference before he starts work.

One Named Peter...

A yachtsman gets both Michelle and Daniel dreaming of the high life. Two window cleaners and a computer malfunction cause problems for one of the doctors. George isn't coping and she is advised to finally speak to Nick about his paralysis.

First Impressions

It's Friday the 13th and Jimmi's nervous about his first day shadowing a police surgeon. Vivien is moved to help a young woman with a sob story in the park. Some heavies are looking for Daniel. Vivien turns detective to get her money back.

Episode 45

That's Amore

Daniel and Joe relive old times over lunch and the subject of money is raised again. Jimmi's patient, a pharmacist friend of Julia's, has lunch with someone who is not his wife, so Julia gets involved. Jimmi updates Nick on his FME job.

Goat or Donkey?

Ronnie's new law venture gets suddenly up and running, helping a man changing his will to leave it all to an animal charity. Joe lends Daniel £10000, but he doesn't give it all to the loan-shark and in fact gets himself in more trouble.

Episode 47

A Sting in the Tail

Nick's going crazy in hospital, but a nurse tries to get him see things more positively. Daniel rolls in at the last minute and upsets Vivien with his casual attitude, so he spends money to make amends. Nick helps a fellow wheelchair user.

The Secret to Success

Jimmi tries to be the impartial voice of reason at a crime scene, but the FME he is shadowing is being awkward. Daniel is asked by a patient for weight loss surgery, then her boss also asks him for help. He invites Michelle to a casino.

Nightlife and Lowlife

Jimmi gets advice on how to cope with manipulative prisoners as an FME - and ignores it. Michelle is impressed by Daniel at the casino, until he starts to lose. Jimmi is offered a bribe and his response may have consequences.

Feeling the Heat

George sees a patient being encouraged by her partner to get breast enlargement. Michelle wants to forget the casino trip, but Daniel tries to pretend it was great. Joe leaves for a week. Ronnie asks George to finally try his motorbike.

Raw Deals

Daniel gets a deadline from Tyrrel, so he turns to Julia for a loan. Michelle treats a woman and her IVF twins, but she and her husband are not coping well. George gives Ronnie's bike another try, in the right gear. Michelle doubts Daniel.

Episode 52

Just Deserts

Vivien attends the sentencing of a youth who burgled her home and Ronnie represents the boy. Daniel has to face Tyrrel after work, so he asks Jimmi for a loan, then does worse. Julia finds out Nick's likely future and comforts Gabby.

A Secure Relationship

George annoys Ronnie, working from home, helping a woman trying to get her fiance released from prison. Daniel is black and blue and tells everyone he was mugged. Michelle tells Julia what she suspects and Vivien sees him taking pills.

Innocence Lost

On her way to work, Julia runs down a teenage girl running, who has a tale to tell back at The Mill. Joe gets home: finds the mess, Daniel missing and everyone telling him something bad about Daniel. The police are also looking for him.

There Was an Old Lady...

New registrar, Melody, arrives with a confused old lady, found wandering. Joe goes to the police about Daniel: could he finally find out the truth? At the station, Jimmi examines a string of drunk hens, then a confused old lady shoplifter.

A sick grandmother is worried by all the cryptic messages on her grandson's phone. When the police want to see Joe, George gets to take Melody on house calls. Nick has physio, but Gabby's not happy. Joe is upset at all Daniel's deceptions.

Michelle worries her Lupus patient is being taken advantage of by her attentive agency carer. Nick is putting on a brave face without Gabby. A busy Joe neglects Melody and is still worried about Daniel, then he gets a phone call.

The Naked Truth

Vivien helps an acquaintance with a mole, who has a secret side hustle, which involves taking his clothes off. Jimmi gets to babysit Melody, while Joe's still trying to track down Daniel, but everybody gets annoyed and Melody is in danger.

Desperate Measures

Joe and Melody try to escape from Tyrrel, who's determined to recoup Daniel's debt however long it takes. Ronnie represents a friend arrested and acting very much out of character: but why? A phone call could make or break Joe's situation.

Quid Pro Quo

Melody relives her ordeal, much to Vivien's annoyance. Joe refers a 16 year old with a police boyfriend, to an STD clinic, then her mother, with a dodgy boyfriend, confronts Joe. George visits Nick and is worried about his mental state.

Deceptive Appearances

Michelle visits a patient with an ulcer, getting a free antiques valuation. Is she right to suspect a con? Julia has a plan to cheer up Nick and tries to get all the staff on board (literally). Nick is adamant his condition is temporary.

For the Love of Bob

Julia gives the cleaner a lift home after a funny turn and sees she's not eating properly, despite having a stash of money. She's helping a homeless man. Jimmi advises a grieving father who has reservations about donating his son's organs.

Sink or Swim

Melody brings fish to work and manages to put her foot in it with all Joe's patients, pushing him to the brink, then the daughter of a cancer patient provides a puzzle for them both. Can he carry on training her, or is she a lost cause?

Blind Sided

Nick flirts with his physio and wants to discharge himself from hospital. Melody sees Ronnie arrive on his bike and likes what she sees. A guide for a blind runner is conflicted when his girlfriend finds she's pregnant ahead of a big race.

At the station, Jimmi examines a man arrested for assaulting a police officer, who denies everything. Nick is enjoying being at home, till George calls him. Melody feels she is ready to work solo, but Julia and Joe don't both agree.

Zero

On her disastrous first day, Melody has a young patient trying to be a size zero because mother is pushing her to be a model.The situation brings up personal memories for Melody. Nick's physio session does not go the way he had hoped.

Invisible Enemy

George treats a distressed woman with a dead sister, receiving upsetting anonymous notes. Her husband comes to The Mill to find her; charming Julia and Vivien. But everything is very much not as it seems and George receives a threat too.

The Big Decision

George has strong opinions about the grandfather of an excluded child Ronnie is defending. The old man's attitudes might explain the boy's behaviour. Jimmi finds out George is having heart palpitations. Julia considers making a change.

Nick cancels his physio session and gets help elsewhere, when he faces facts about his macho behaviour. George treats a prim and proper widow with a persistent admirer. George keeps herself very busy and her heart palpitations recur.

Dying to Please

George visits Nick and they talk about the crash. Joe gives Melody a video camera to film her consultations and a famous actress sends in her PA to get her tranquilizers, but she ends up being the patient. Michelle recruits a new nurse.

A Passing Phase

Archie has a close shave on his bike as he heads to The Mill for the first time, then agrees to do Michelle's house calls. He advises a patient about her dad's strange hobby. Melody uses the camera on her first day of solo consultations.

Amnesiac

A sceptical Vivien has been offered a job and takes a look round the clinic, where an amnesiac is undergoing art therapy and she can't help giving her opinion. Meanwhile, a woman is looking for her missing brother after their father died.

One Good Turn

Julia's friend comes in for a charity donation, but ends up getting a check up and is nearly arrested. Jimmi wonders why Vivien is in such a good mood. Joe reviews Melody's consultation videos, while she asks Michelle all about Archie.

Hero

Archie sees a comic book fan injured when he comes to the aid of a girl he wants to impress. Joe has a hair raising day when he takes Melody on house calls. Vivien calls round to see Nick, but he can't get to the door. Julia has a visitor.

Wedding Bells, Warning Bells

Nick has obstacles to overcome as he returns to work. A temporary patient raises suspicions. Jimmi has a pregnant Serbian patient with a complicated problem. A now Julia 'Parsons' encourages Liam to be happy and move on, as she has done.

The Weight of the World

Nick faces a couple with a decision to make about their disabled baby and there is a difference of opinion. Melody is still avoiding Ronnie, when she spots a new love interest. Liam has lunch with Julia, who wants him to find love again.

Flying Solo

Julia suggests Melody goes for a drink with Liam. Melody's excited to do house calls on her own, but her visit to a new mum with an infection turns into something else and Joe worries she needs his help. A sad Liam phones his ex in secret.

The Gift Horse

Ronnie is asked for advice when a pensioner receives something in the post. Melody is in bits after yesterday and Liam has a hangover, but their drinks still go ahead. Michelle and Jimmi keep Archie busy. Liam gets an unexpected visitor.

George is back from her parents, but not ready to face Nick at work. Ocean is not making a good impression on Julia and Liam is not sure he can take her back. Archie examines a baby, whose mother is obsessed with milestones.

Pills and Pork Scratchings

Jimmi helps Nick with his medical outreach idea and they make a difference to someone in a scruffy pub, where a wheelchair bound drinker is the life and soul. Liam arranges for Julia and Ocean to get to know each other better over lunch.

There is hand-holding and hugs at The Mill and an overwrought single mother needs reassurance from Joe. George treats an agony aunt who is doubting herself after getting angry letters and has started literally taking other people's advice.

Explosion

Michelle treats a pregnant army wife, whose main problem is currently her mother-in-law, and she's Jimmi's patient. Archie and Michelle take on Vivien and look for allies. Julia's moaning about Ocean wanting to save the planet irks George.

Que Sera Sera

Michelle cons Jimmi into inviting Vivien for a drink, but she only wants to get her drunk so she embarrasses herself. Archie helps a fellow football fan prepare to go from hospital to a care home, but there is a hitch. Liam plans a trip.

The Prodigal Son

Julia is still being driven mad by Ocean and her eco-nagging Melody tries to smooth things over with Vivien, but Michelle and Archie are unrepentant. Joe is invited to the 65th birthday party of a patient with 2 competing sons.

Liam and Ocean make plans for the future, as they try again to cook a meal for Julia. Ronnie gets involved when a colleague, after the death of his pregnant wife, fights with her brother . Michelle sees the power of books to bring comfort.

Gloria's Gift

Melody and Michelle both treat Gloria, who can possibly contact the dead, though she denies it. Melody treats a lady missing her husband. Does Gloria have a gift; or if she is a fake, does she still give comfort, or is it taking advantage?

Ménage à Trois

Nick has a patient with a complicated relationship with her sister. Jimmi lunches with Liam and Ocean in p!ace of Julia. Michelle asks Vivien for help. Nick gives one sister life-changing news. Ocean overhears something about Liam's past.

Flights of Fantasy

Archie's patient asks him to help her neighbour: a fantasy novelist, with a heart problem, who has started acting strangely. Julia feels guilty and upset, after Liam packs up to try and track down Ocean. Michelle still needs a favour.

Episode 89

Labour of Love

Melody needs a place to stay after a flood in her flat. Julia does not know if Liam and Ocean will ever return. Vivien continues to visit Sam, while Michelle is away. George supports a mum-to-be, whose husband has sympathetic labour pains.

Episode 90

Uplifting

Melody is making herself at home at Archie's and causing chaos. Joe gets a visit from Julia's friend, whose wife has MS and needs a stair lift. Vivien helps Sam escape from the hospital for a while.

Episode 91

Compromising Positions

Archie manages to get in the bathroom first, but then Melody accidentally sees him in the shower - and teases him all day. George and Ronnie have a terrible evening with a couple they met at antenatal classes. Vivien gets Sam a present.

Episode 92

One Life

Archie is sick of being the topic of gossip. At the station, Jimmi listens to a woman who tells him how she spoke to her missing husband on the street, but the man denied being him. Vivien's determined to take Sam out to his special place.

Episode 93

Just Nerves

Joe is called to treat a bride on the morning of her wedding and sends her to hospital. Melody resolves to show Archie she is not selfish, but bothers Joe for cooking tips and gets drunk. Vivien abandons work to take Sam out one last time.

Episode 94

Pleasure Island

Melody has moved in with Michelle after storming out of Archie's. Vivien throws herself into filing after Sam's death. Nick gets involved when his friend brings in his Russian wife to be. Joe goes undercover to check out the dating agency.

Damage Limitation

George is concerned about her patient with Alzheimer's, who may be being taken advantage of. Vivien calls in sick and the staff realize how upset she is by Sam's death. Nick and Joe go to a deli for lunch and both see something they like.

Archie is concerned about his uncle, who claims never to have been to a doctor. Joe convinces Melody she needs to mend bridges with Archie, so she reluctantly agrees to visit his uncle and covertly find out if he has any health problems.

Bad Boys

Vivien visits Sam's home. Nick selflessly offers to go to the deli on his own, but is disappointed when Carla is nice to everyone. Joe treats a friend of Julia's who is dressed like a teenager to take on the local bad boys single-handedly.

Up, Up and Away

Archie refers an anxious patient to George for pills, but is called back to help her retired geology teacher husband, who mysteriously collapses before their big holiday. Vivien has a new zest now she is fund raising for Sam's old hospice.

Episode 99

Truth Be Told

Vivien is realising what a huge task she has taken on and enlists the staff to help. Nick decides to ask Carla out. Michelle's friend is pretending to be a rich dentist, but her too-good-to-be-true boyfriend turns up at The Mill.

Fast Girl

George gets involved between a divorcing Muslim mum and her diabetic daughter, who wants to fast - even if it harms her health. Nick looks forward to his 'date' with Carla. The staff fret about their roles in the gala, especially Melody.

Rebel, Rebel

Jimmi gets to know a feisty woman, who runs into him in a mobility scooter. At the station, Ronnie represents a retired famous boxer, fallen on hard times. He takes him to see Jimmi about his eyes. Both characters have opposing life views.

Baby Be Mine

Melody treats a pregnant single woman, looking to have a termination, then gives a health check to her sister, who is desperate to adopt. Vivien worries what Archie and Melody have planned. Joe asks Carla out and Nick confides in Ronnie.

In a Hole

Two council workmen need to see a nurse, much to their foreman's annoyance and Vivien gets involved. Archie and Melody reveal what they are planning for the gala. Joe cries off from a lunchtime rehearsal with Nick for his date with Carla.

Joe lets fate decide what happens on his day with Carla. Nick tries to help a homeless woman being harassed, but he is being scammed. Can he actually save her? Melody is struggling to overcome her phobia, but doesn't dare let Vivien down.

Mr Woodson and the Avaricious Tortoise

Ronnie takes on a case of debt collectors chasing an elderly couple spending on store cards in the name of their tortoise. Vivien is in need of some therapy from George with the stress of keeping the running order from falling apart.

George gives an unhappy rep something to think about. Joe is called to a terminally ill patient, whose parents are frantically planning for her Indian themed birthday, but Ronnie is helping her draw up a living will.

Joe is still warring with Nick over Carla choosing him. Jimmi tells a widow she has chlamydia and wonders how, if her husband was faithful. Could her brother-in-law hold the answer? The gala preparations are not going smoothly for Vivien.
