Keen new receptionist, Donna Parmar, joins The Mill and Jimmi is missing Sarah. Greg's back from honeymoon and catches up on the gossip. A woman sends her husband to the doctors about his snoring and flirts with her dance instructor.

Greg is still bickering with Rico. He treats a girl underplaying her heart defect. Her dad might be leading her to risky behaviour. Nick confides in Ronnie.
Episode 3
Nick gets involved when his friend's political rival has his medical history leaked to the press. George is not happy when she is called in to a meeting on her day off. Mac and Greg have a dilemma.
Episode 4
There are problems when Faith gives injections to two bickering siblings. Nobody seems to want the partnership. Jimmi is not making Donna feel welcome, but Greg takes her to lunch.
Episode 5
Ronnie represents a man being sued over a car accident and Mac treats the man for the stress caused. Ronnie fishes for info on the injured man. Jimmi had a night out to forget Sarah and snaps at Donna again. Nick gives his answer to Mac.

Mac discusses relationships on the golf course with a stranger and hears something moving. Jimmi fancies becoming a partner, but Greg gives him bad news. George and Ronnie help Rico write an article on hot sauce and share marriage advice.

Mac spoils Julia, but why? Jimmi sees a woman who's pregnant, but her divorced, firefighter fiance has had a vasectomy. The man sees Jimmi about his stomach pains, which may be because he is lying. Nick wants a decision on the partnership.

Julia tells Faith that Mac is acting differently. Nick is made an associate, so Jimmi is sure he will be made partner. Mac has a young patient booked in for a procedure he does not approve of. George takes her point too far with Ronnie.

Faith has a car accident and complains about having problems with her eyesight. Greg treats a woman with memory loss, whose husband is not the man she once knew. Mac's "golf trip to Devon" turns out to be a flight to Dublin.

Mac is giddy after his weekend away. Donna sees her friend shopping for his anniversary meal, but when she drops round a card she is confused by what she sees. George and Ronnie try to agree on a middle name for Bracken.
Episode 11
Faith's friend: an engaged woman waiting on the results of an HIV test, comes in for travel jabs. Jimmi has a busy day, but won't accept Nick's offer of help. Faith makes another mistake. Kate is coming over with Kieron to stay with Faith.

Faith can't meet Kate McGuire when she arrives in Letherbridge to visit, so Julia insists on giving her the grand tour of The Mill. George treats a woman with an injured foot, whose sister has turned up to look after her against her will.
Episode 13
Kate has lunch with the gang before her flight gets cancelled. Faith considers doing something about her eyesight and asks for Nick's help. Jimmi has a day away from being a doctor, hiking with an old school friend. Kate stays at Mac's.

Ronnie does the conveyancing for a couple desperate to move away from a nightmare neighbour. George gets a mixed response to her invites to Bracken's naming ceremony. Kate feels guilty as Julia is so nice to her, but Mac feels no remorse.
Episode 15
Donna promises Mac she can be discreet. Faith visits a frail woman, whose leg ulcers do not seem to be getting better; then her daughter complains to Julia. Bracken's naming ceremony is still causing upsets. Nick examines Faith's eyes.
Episode 16
George overhears what the staff think of her 'hippy dippy ideas' for the naming ceremony. Jimmy is seen by the wife of a schizophrenic, who is convinced she is having an affair. George chooses guardians for Bracken and starts a discussion.
Episode 17
Mac treats a pregnant woman, whose worried mum is being taken away on holiday by a pushy childhood friend. Sam turns up and asks Mac and Julia a favour, but Mac puts his patient first; leaving Julia to try and resolve things with Sam.
Episode 18
Julia is tetchy after going to London to make peace with Sam. Greg gives a divorced, depressed teacher a sick note and a 16 year old girl the pill. Sarah puts her job at risk when she tells her friend what she thinks her daughter is up to.

Mac treats an elderly man who has a new lady friend, whom he plans to marry. Julia wants Mac to back her up and fire Donna. Faith strikes up a conversation with someone in the waiting room when she sees the eye specialist at the hospital.
Episode 20
George helps the Irish mother of a dead girl find out who she really was and how she died. Mac is at a conference to see Kate again and worries Donna will tell Julia. Nick asks Faith about her eye exam, but she doesn't want to discuss it.
Episode 21
A new appointment system causes confusion at The Mill. Faith helps Greg with a woman who doesn't want surgery. Nick writes a prescription for a pretty student, then she comes straight back in. He has to try and work out what is going on.
Episode 22
At the station, Greg looks at the injuries of a boy arrested for burglary. Faith goes for lunch with Paul after he brings her a gift. Julia visits George and shares her confusion over Mac's behaviour, vowing to make more of an effort .
Episode 23
Donna is worried when Julia says she's going to the conference to surprise Mac. Faith treats a teenager, whose boyfriend noses round the surgery and sees her medical notes: George has to help. Faith and Paul get closer. Kate feels guilty.
Episode 24
Mac and Julia argue a lot following the 'Mac having had sex with Kate' thing. Mac decides to resign with immediate effect and leaves with Kate for Dublin.
Episode 25
Julia has disappeared after Mac left with Kate, so the staff pull together. Faith ignores her eye problem and George helps a patient with a learning disability, who has to leave his job after his mum dies. Rico visits a patient for Greg.
Episode 26
Rico and Violet fight to save the historic factory. Nick treats a woman with fertility problems, determined to keep them a secret from her partner. George tries everything to speak to Julia and check she is okay.
Episode 27
Greg is furious that Rico was arrested and Rico is furious that Greg left him in jail all night. Jimmi helps a patient with a chess problem. Donna draws the short straw and checks on Julia, where she says the wrong thing.
Episode 28
Rico regrets the protest harming Violet's health. Ronnie's ex-colleague works in a charity shop, so he donates some of George's clothes and gets involved with the staff's petty problems. Faith visits a clearly distressed Julia and listens.
Episode 29
Rico is sad that he encouraged Violet to protest and now she is dead: Ronnie is sympathetic. Jimmi has a patient who is acting strangely, including towards Donna - but is it due to his past aneurysm? A staff meeting holds two surprises.
Episode 30
A widow brings her literature loving son, with an active imagination, to see Greg. Rico begins telling Violet's story. Faith's bombshell has shocked the staff and they don't know how to react. Julia is back with a bang and looking good.

George supports Faith, who is sad about giving up nursing and Julia asks her for ideas for her replacement. Jimmi gives test results to a man trying for a baby and feels under pressure to perform. Greg is still sulking.

The new nurse, Michelle, starts her training with Faith and wants everyone to stop treating her with kid gloves. George treats a junk collector feuding with his brother. The staff go out on the town, leaving Faith and Greg working late.

Michelle tries to aid the staff with hangovers. Julia steels herself to clear Mac's office. Ronnie helps a rape victim, whose husband (Nick's diabetic patient) can't see why she wants to go to court. Faith and Paul spend the day together.

George's new patient encourages her to attend the gardening show. When his wife tells Michelle how her husband is neglecting her, she goes along too. Julia and Greg plan for the future of The Mill. Donna finds out about breast screening.

Michelle redecorates behind Julia's back. Paul helps Faith prepare for her possible future. Greg examines a struggling student, home to get her dad's support. Jimmi treats her mother injured at work, but gives her a surprising diagnosis.

A boy tries to steal Jimmi's car, then breaks into an old man's flat and ends up taking him to the doctor. Nick treats the man and gets involved. Jimmi tells his therapist he's cured and asks her to have lunch instead of a therapy session.

Faith volunteers at a TB testing clinic for the homeless, where she comes across Frog and his girlfriend, who run off before agreeing to treatment. Michelle arrives and she and Faith are at odds with the no-nonsense clinic administrator .

Julia makes two announcements at a staff meeting. Greg agrees to treat a bully, who cut his hand beating up a boy, who also comes in for treatment; but the boy has a medical condition he wants kept secret. Ronnie has bad news for Julia.

Paul surprises Faith with a trip to Paris, so they decide to start traveling the world while Faith still can (on account of her going blind). In a spur of the moment decision she decides to hand in her notice and leaves the practice. She then discovers she's pregnant.

After the summer, new partner, Dr. Joe Fenton, treats a nervy pregnant woman and tries to dig deeper on his own. He's moved to Letherbridge with his teenage daughter, Emily and the staff compete to find out all about him first over drinks.

George treats a pregnant woman, whose husband has mysterious symptoms stopping him supporting her: George turns to Joe for ideas. Jimmi gets a call from his sister. Joe runs behind by spending so long with each patient, annoying Donna.

Jimmi spends some quality time with his nephew, but struggles to get him to open up. A teenager with asthma goes for a night out, but ends up needing a doctor. Greg makes a house call. Family secrets are shared for better or worse.

Joe takes Emily to see a new college and offers to get her some work experience. Nick sees a young patient wanting to see Mac, who is looking to join the army to turn his life around, but needs a favour. Jimmi has lunch with his sister.

Joe fumes when he discovers that Emily spent the night at Nick's. Jimmi gets a visit from his dad's fiancee. Ronnie overhears George making a phone call about her patient, that could benefit his client in a custody case. George is furious.

George has problems when her practical-joker patient changes his will. Joe tries to apologise to Nick and to Michelle. Jimmi books time off to warn Carol her son may not be safe with his dad. Nick wants time off to go rock climbing.

Michelle gets involved when a man and woman argue after crashing into each other in the car park. Jimmi wants to tell Carol about his childhood and get her to call off the wedding, but his dad is home instead.

Jimmi makes a house call to a young man in a vegetative state, whose mother's just asked him for sleeping pills. George gets involved when a woman co!lapses in front of her. Both doctors fail to stay detached despite their best intentions.

Jimmi chats with Julia at lunch after she gets a postcard from Faith. Joe makes a house call to the mother of a bride to be, risking her health to focus on the wedding preparations. Greg and Jimmi try to make mischief with Ronnie.

George is unsympathetic to Ronnie's hangover and doesn't like the idea Jimmi and Greg put in his head. Joe cannot believe the wedding is going ahead after the bride's mother has died in hospital, but he is determined not to interfere.

Nick sees a client turn up at Ronnie's house, demanding action. Meanwhile a girl thinks she has seen the ghost of her mother. Ronnie confides in Nick that his client may not be innocent. Michelle imagines a romance between Julia and Jimmi.

Jimmi sees an injured man waiting on hospital tests so he can go back to work, but his boss is impatient. Michelle shares her theory with Donna and an exasperated Julia wants to know what they are gossiping about. Donna blabs to Jimmi.

Michelle, Greg and Nick compete to complete their list to win a cake, but Nick takes his time to treat an asthmatic who makes a revelation. He asks for Greg's advice, but gets rebuffed. When the boy's back later, Nick is better prepared.

At the station, Greg examines a woman who may have taken drugs. Joe tries to plan a day of fun with Emily, but asks Michelle's advice. She makes a house call to George's terminally ill patient, a woman being given drugs by her daughter.

Joe makes another go at a day out with Emily; this time with Nick's advice. George is there when police search her patient's house for drugs and she has words of wisdom for her and her children. Michelle finds out what's been happening.

Margot invites Julia to go a cruise with her. Michelle and Joe see a couple at a quit smoking group clinic with very different progress levels. Julia finds excuses not to go away, despite everyone's encouragement.

Jimmi visits his dad at his childhood home before the wedding. Donna takes her responsibility for the health and safety audit very seriously - unlike the rest of the staff. George is an expert witness in one of Ronnie's compensation cases.

Nick treats a daredevil friend who makes fun of his lack of adventure. Greg treats a bereaved patient, who is depressed and wants pills, and then has to examine a boy whose mum thinks he is malingering, but actually has hidden injuries.

Jimmi deals with the fallout from the wedding day. The health and safety audit goes ahead. George makes a house call to a famous, retired actress: house-bound, but too proud to get help, until the police and Ronnie get involved.

Donna prepares the staff for a fire safety inspection. Nick treats a 16 year old girl with Downs Syndrome. Her dad is not happy, but her mum thinks everything is OK. Emily tries to get quality time with Joe, but Michelle has to prompt him.

Greg sees one of Mac's patients with an unusual problem. Donna ensures the staff start to take fire drills seriously after yesterday. Joe and Emily go to their first cookery class, where Joe ends up enjoying himself more than expected.

Joe is lumbered with examining a boy, whose demanding, angry mum makes everyone question what is really wrong. When her things start to go missing, she just gets angry and her son has unexplained bruises. Joe has to make a big call.

Greg misses Joe and Emily's Halloween costume party dealing with a murder, discovered by trick or treaters . There are jelly shots and a costume mix up at the party and Nick and Sadie's enjoyable night ends badly.

Joe does the walk of shame from Victoria's, still dressed as a gorilla and lies to Emily. Nick wants to keep quiet about the attack on his car. He treats a stroke victim worried about her allotment mad husband, who gets up early to garden.

Michelle's day is already not going well, when she makes a house call to a woman with a leg ulcer, who is coking a casserole. Her upstairs neighbour is frantic about her missing rabbit and wants Michelle to find out if the rabbit is safe.

Joe treats a pregnant woman, whose husband is having nightmares and is excessively worried about fire. The police visit Nick and rule out his two prime suspects, so he confides in Sadie. Emily has a date, so Joe invites Victoria round.

Greg makes a house call to a woman with an ulcer. Her son is about to move to Spain and feels he should now postpone. Emily moans to Michelle about finding her dad with Victoria, but she's not very sympathetic. Nick is smitten with Sadie.

Nick makes accusations and needs his friends, when his story is splashed across the local paper. Michelle makes a house call to one of his patients and uncovers some uncomfortable truths.

Joe treats a famous photographer, who encourages Donna to let him take her picture to impress her husband. Meanwhile, Nick treats a distressed actress, who had been blackmailed by a sleazy photographer. Is Donna putting herself at risk?

Joe and Victoria have lunch, but he's worried they don't have much to talk about. George attends a boring leadership course accompanied by Ronnie. She has a laugh with a fellow doctor and Ronnie enters a tennis tournament against his wife.

Joe has split up with Victoria; Nick is in love and tells Sadie how he feels; George slept in her car, now she and Doug have to somehow get back to the hotel. Ronnie does not think he has much of a chance against Zeta in the tennis final.

Nick treats three members of the same family, due to the father's anger issues. George's mother repeatedly rings, because she wants to come and stay. Nick has no idea that Sadie seems to be the one he should be worried about.

George's mum is on her way. George has an extra house call to make, but the mother who answers the door turns her away and only the estranged husband's arrival gets her in to see the ill son. Ronnie is left with his furious mother-in-law.

Jimmi treats a woman who talks to her dead parents about everything and has a horrible work colleague making fun of her. She likes Jimmi a lot more than her previous doctor and she takes desperate measures to get his attention.

Rico organizes a day of fun on the water for Greg, but they get involved in an investigation. Things are still tense in the Woodson household. While Nick tries to ignore the threats and won't engage with the police, Sadie's scheme develops

Michelle gets in trouble advising a 16 year old she used to babysit. The girl has a boyfriend, a medical secret and a protective dad. Rico spends all day trying to check Sadie's background online then unsubtly quizzes her over dinner.

Rico is determined to get the police to look at Sadie more closely and finds she's planning a surprise climbing trip for Nick. Ronnie and George talk, now her mum has left. Greg's dragged into a patient's concern for his neighbour's child.

Joe treats Donna's previously overweight school friend, who does not like the attention she now gets. Sadie takes Nick hiking in remote hills, but Rico and Greg, annoyed by how slow the police are being, try desperately to track them down.

Susan Vaughn tells Nick why she hit him over the head and has him strung up over the edge of a cliff to make him suffer. A superstitious man, scared of dying, demands to see a doctor and George tries to help. Can Greg and Rico save Nick?

Jimmi is back and is told all about Nick and Sadie/Sarah. Jimmi treats a hotelier with hyper-hydrosis, who is stressed by an obnoxious guest and the saintly departed husband of his partner. Nick gets an unexpected visitor in hospital.

A bruised Nick is back and has to cover for Joe, who has flu. Donna's friend from foster care comes in and tells her his partner is expecting, but Donna knows she has not been in for any check ups. Michelle's designer coat raises eyebrows.

Ronnie's colleague has a promotion and is moving to Newcastle. Michelle makes a house call to a mum with brain damage after an accident. Her husband wants to put her in a care home and to move with his girlfriend, to Newcastle .

Michelle is the subject of gossip after Ronnie saw her and her older gentleman-friend together. Joe treats a woman worried about mood swings and her libido; meanwhile her taxi driver husband is fantasizing about one of his passengers.

George is outraged that Michelle's 'friend' is a married father of 2 and enlists Julia's help to confront her. Jimmi has toothache. Nick treats an adopted 16 year old boy with special needs, suffering headaches and makes a home visit.

Jimmi nearly bumps into a lovely OAP on his way out of the dentist; when she stumbles and hurts herself, he takes her back to The Mill. George's treats one of her least favourite patients, who is impatiently waiting for a heart operation.

Ronnie is called in to help the firm investigate staff performance, but finds a friend being treated unfairly. George's heart patient is back and cries on Michelle's shoulder. Jimmi treats a man going to Spain after his upcoming heart op.

George and Jimmi's heart patients find out about their operations: Michelle's friend, Ferdy, is the consultant. Nick sees a patient with depression, who has applied for a job with the man auditing The Mill's finances, who sees her file.

Donna goes Christmas shopping with a spendthrift friend, who is not as happy as she seems. George and Jimmi are convinced Michelle is using her influence with Ferdy to push patients up the waiting list, so they ask Julia to confront her.

Michelle is upset that she may have made a big mistake talking to Ferdy about patients, so she speaks to him. Joe treats a woman with a husband in hospital after a stroke, worried about what will happen when he comes home. Emily is upset.

Nick confirms Emily is pregnant. She's so upset he advises her to tell Joe. Greg makes a house call to a lady whose first husband died, then, at the station, he examines her current husband: in for drink driving. Michelle has a visitor.
