Ronnie tells an indignant Julia that she's been cleared. She and Mac have sacked Greg for reporting her to the police. At the station, he helps a woman whose father has dementia, but won't go into a home: he thinks he's still a policeman.

Julia is disappointed when Mac books a surprise weekend away to Spain, near a golf course. He checks on a friend with MS, who wants advice about his wife. Their son thinks she's up to something. Mac takes Julia to lunch and they see her.

Greg still hopes to be reinstated, so Sarah puts off visiting doctors. George visits a man with stomach pains, who worries his cancer has returned, but hadn't told his boyfriend. Faith is worried about workload with Tash not returning.

Ronnie helps a man with child custody issues. It is the day of the grand opening ceremony for the Mill Health Center and Julia and Mac both think the other has a celebrity to cut the ribbon. Greg knows someone famous and can save the day.

After having spent the night with Sarah, Nathan asks Julia for his job back, but Ben is devastated by the trial despite the not guilty verdict. Mac treats the daughter of a man not coping without his wife, but refusing to ask for help.

Jimmi wakes up in his clothes seeming confused with an empty wallet. He rushes late to work and treats a charismatic diabetic patient just out of prison, who may not be all he seems. Greg gets closer to puzzling out what links the crimes.

Ronnie is fussing over George, but she sneaks into work. An archaeologist on a deadline is too busy to consult a doctor so her husband speaks to Helen. Jimmi tells Greg about his date stealing from him and he tells him to go to the police.

Ronnie and George have lunch with Ronnie's uncle, who is a children's author, before his wife's memorial service. His long-serving assistant worries he cannot read, but Ronnie is convinced she is wrong.

The police tell Greg they've found the drug factory. Julia overhears Jimmi talking to a lady about a shipment. An angry sick man shouts at his wife, then Sarah when she asks him to fill in a form. He's not seen a doctor, but visits his ex.

Mac is woken by a call from an elderly patient and, much to Julia's dismay, goes straight round. Julia helps a family friend house-hunt with a dishy estate agent and she is the one who needs to use her medical knowledge.

George does house calls without telling Ronnie and they both get in the middle of the same neighbourhood dispute. Sarah is still championing help for illiterate patients. Greg examines the latest victim of The Mantis, who takes a bad turn.

In a double episode: Helen gets a lovely gift, then worries it's from an obsessive drug-addicted patient from her past. The police ask the public's help now The Mantis is a murder enquiry. Jimmi invites everyone to an eventful house party.

Everyone is shocked by the arrival of Jimmi's wife, but he acts like nothing happened. While George reluctantly prescribes sleeping pills to a patient, Sarah finds her confused sister locked in the car. Faith examines a charming elder man.

Amanda introduces herself and gets a guided tour, before she asks Julia a question. Faith visits a grandmother being asked to do too much by her daughter. Her charming patient mysteriously requests Julia allocates him a different nurse.

Jimmi is delighted when he is asked to speak at a charity function. He treats a string of patients asking for a sick note, not all of whom are telling the truth and soon he doesn't know what or who to believe.

Mac treats a lesbian couple trying to artificially conceive using one partner's brother as a donor. Not all parties seem equally keen. Faith still worries why her patient requested a transfer and ignores Julia's advice to give him space.

Martin/David is in hospital after being run down. Helen visits him and so does the librarian he thinks is his mum. George tells Mac (and Ronnie) she wants a home birth. Mac finally lets Amanda treat his aches and they discuss homeopathy.

Ronnie is consulted by a couple wanting legal help because the wife's mother is carrying their surrogate baby for them. Julia and Mac prepare to go to Canada. George apologises for her behaviour at the party. Ronnie gets some bad news.

Amanda tries to show Jimmi why he married her. George makes a house call to a woman just out of prison, who won't leave the house. Sarah is back from her hols and catching up on the gossip, but rows with Amanda and Jimmi has to intervene.

Jimmi is first into work after having slept in the spare room. His OCD flares up. Sarah pops in on her day off and ends up helping him. Greg treats a man who dresses as a chicken, whose boss is unsympathetic to his bad feet.

Helen treats a grumpy woman, whose new daughter-in-law is gas-lighting her. Sarah promises Jimmi she will keep what he told her private. Amanda goes home alone and, after a relaxing bath, notices something worrying.

It is Comic Relief day and, amid lots of fund raising, Faith sings at a charity auction in a friend's gallery. Ronnie finds out his dead uncle had yet another secret and worries it may affect him. Amanda ensures Jimmi find her breast lump.

Ronnie asks Greg if he should be worried about his uncle's depression. Sarah's ex has a fall at work and Greg patches him up, but he's not telling the full story. Jimmi fusses as Amanda has her biopsy, but Sarah thinks he should leave her.

Jimmi waits anxiously for Amanda's results and avoids Sarah. He treats a 60 year old with angina, hiding his health problems from his younger boyfriend. Greg reassures Ronnie about the mental illness in his family. Amanda gets her results.

Greg is called by the police after a lady makes herself at home and then is attacked in bed. Amanda tells Sarah to cancel her appointments then cries, so she assumes the worst. Amanda is annoyed that Jimmi told her about the lump at all.

Now Amanda has quit, George secretly uses Aboriginal healing techniques to go into the dreams of a woman having nightmares. Ronnie helps a man with his mother's surprising will. Helen and Ronnie both want George to start maternity leave.

A man builds a yurt in his office; refusing to come out, so Jimmi is called to resolve things. George has had enough of pregnancy and tries everything to start her labour. Mac offers Marc Helen's job, whilst blaming him for her leaving.

Helen discovers that Marc has broken off his engagement to Cara. George sees Charlotte kissing Ronnie. She is so upset she goes into labor and is rushed into hospital. Getting ready for the Christmas fancy dress party, Helen and Marc realize they love each other, and Marc carries Helen (dressed as Marilyn Monroe from Gentlemen Prefer Blondes) off into the falling snow. George gives birth to a baby girl, then tells poor Ronnie to pack his bags and get out.George goes into cardiac arrest.

Mac makes a house call to a children's home and then an ex-resident is taken to see him by her concerned sister because she is cutting herself. Elizabeth is still getting backs up, but helps here. Ronnie has made a big unilateral decision.

A young offender returns home to his loser dad - much to the shock and worry of senior citizen, Albert Sampson, who the youth attacked before. Albert turns to Jimmi when the worry aggravates his angina.
