The hospital deals with the hack. Michael's marriage is on the rocks. A young man brings a homeless man to the hospital and the one who brings him bolts. A woman brings her daughter to the hospital she's unconscious and the mother doesn't know where she's been And they try to find out so she can be treated. The homeless man is exhibiting the same symptoms but he's mentally unstable so they can't talk to him. Later the young man who brought the homeless man is brought in too and they learn he also knows the girl brought in. He tells them where they went and how he came into contact with the homeless man. They learn what the cause is. But doesn't help one of them. Sonya treated one of the patients and Larsen suggested a test which Sonya wouldn't allow. And Clark learns cause of the hack they could have diagnosed them sooner.

Following the hack that led to a patient's death, the FBI is brought in to find the hacker. Sonya and T.J. are sent to a school to give the students scoliosis exams. T.J. discovers that one of the students needs be brought to the hospital, so they call his guardian, his sister, who is reluctant to allow it, but they convince her. When they meet her they discover she's carrying a heavy load and they ask her to accept help. But she's hesitant. Katie talks to Gina about the recording the hacker sent, and she assures her it's fake. She tells Michael, who thinks this can help them locate the hacker. Amy and Hannah treat a man whose family thinks his caretaker is poisoning him, so they look into it. Amy asks for files on all the hospital's doctors so she can figure who the guy she keeps remembering is. Hannah learns of this and freaks out.

Upon learning Hannah's father is the man she recalls, she assumes she's the one responsible for the hacking. The board orders an inquiry because some of the board want Amy's head and the assumption is Hannah blames Amy for her father's suicide. And it seems Amy either made him quit or fired him. So they bring in an investigator who seems determined to pin the whole thing on Amy. Amy tries to find out what did happen. And Richard is brought in to tell them what he knows about what happened between Amy and Dr. Clark. Hannah 's brother is brought in for overdosing.

TJ and Sonya are trying to find what Ridley is hiding. Miller meets with the board to discuss the settlement in his malpractice suit. He decides to use the fall out from what happened between Amy and Dr. Clark to coerce the hospital into giving him his job back.
