Episode 2
Wed, Mar 4, 202025 mins
Dave, exclusively a performer on online platforms, is asked by someone associated to Ally to perform live at an event, a first for him. Because of what it is, Dave feels he cannot say no despite it being an impossible situation. The reasons making it impossible are numerous. The event itself is something where rap is generally not performed. He is to perform new material about someone he's never met and will never have a chance to meet. And he has to strike the appropriate tone which his regular material generally would not fit. Even testing out what he is thinking about performing in front of Ally, Emma and Elz, he will only find out if the task is indeed impossible once he stands up in front of the crowd at the event. Meanwhile, Mike wants to try out a new lotion to deal with Dave's pesky bacne in a setting which shocks those to who they tell.

Wed, Mar 11, 202029 mins
Dave and Ally have a vanilla sex life. Without telling the other, each has needed other stimuli to be fully satisfied sexually, Dave's a little more "physical" when Ally isn't around. But when Ally unexpectedly shows up at one of Dave's recording sessions and hears his sexually explicit lyrics, she decides in the middle of their next sexual encounter to add something different to spice it up. Catching Dave off guard, Ally's declaration during sex only complicates matters, even discussing it afterward, as it all boils down to the root of Dave's primary sexual insecurity, namely his penis, the issues about which only a handful of of people know and which Ally is unaware that she has never really seen in Dave craftfully hiding it during sex.

Episode 4
Wed, Mar 18, 202027 mins
Dave and Ally have invited all their friends to attend an art gallery party with them, there where many celebrities "way bigger than Dave" will be. They hope that especially Mike will come as he seems to need a pick me up in hating his job more and more. While the party ends up not being what many of them were hoping, a few of them come out of it with something meaningful. While Dave's something is not exactly what he would have wanted, Mike's is a new focus as a wanted side gig: he wants to be Dave's manager. The question then becomes whether friends and roommates can mix business and pleasure. Only results may be the determining factor.

Dave and his entourage of Mike, Elz and GaTa are staying at Dave's parents' house while they're in Philadelphia for Dave's first ever live concert performance. Don and Carol, who will be attending the concert, couldn't be prouder parents despite being out of their element. Dave wants his friends from camp when he was a kid to have access to all the VIP events as his guest as he sees them and their encouragement, especially at a talent show, as the starting point for him not just wanting but actually being a performer. Elz, who was also there in Dave's childhood with this group, sees the events a little differently, which makes Dave reevaluate his childhood with this group and his entire being as a performer just before he is ready to go on stage.

Elz is somewhat at a crossroads in his life in stagnating in certain respects, while moving forward in others. He has been creating beats as something he likes to do, but while there seems to be some demand for them, people just expect to be able to use them at their pleasure, especially as Elz doesn't want the staid label of "producer". The fact that he hasn't yet grown up is demonstrated by something somewhat forced upon him by Trippie. On the flip side, he and Emma have just had sex for the first time in she having a sleepover at his place. They each treat the encounter differently, the aftermath emotionally which is only exacerbated by Emma discovering that her car was broken into with her laptop stolen.

Dave, in the process, also meets Justin Bieber and is invited to Bieb's house party that evening, his first real potential hobnob with the rich and famous. Ally expects to be his plus one, which doesn't quite come off as she plans, she instead hanging out with Elz at a sports bar to watch the Eagles game. As the weekend progresses, she finds she doesn't really have Dave's support even more so than usual as he is fixated on being on the cusp of financial security for the first time in his rap career in Mike negotiating with seemingly interested record labels on his behalf. As the weekend goes from bad to worse, Ally may come to a realization of what should be included in her toast.
