Season 9 of the reality show features once again Tom Bergeron and Samantha Harris as hosts, and Len Googman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli as judges. Sixteen couples are competing for the title of best dancers, with three double-elimination nights throughout the season. Bolero, lambada, two-step and Charleston are introduced to compliment the larger cast, which includes singers Macy Gray and Donny Osmond, actress Melissa Joan Hart and model Joanna Krupa. Among the guest performers appearing on the show are Whitney Houston, Taylor Swift, Michael Bublé and Shakira.
