Angels in Vegas

The Angels and Bosley head to Vegas upon being hired by Frank Howell, the owner of the Tropicana Hotel and Casino. To use his word, he, despite claiming that he hasn't an enemy in the world in he operating above board (he having won the hotel and casino outright in a craps game), believes someone is trying to "Gaslight (1944)" him, with small things not being quite right or as he remembered, with the kicker being two of his employees - a young parking lot attendant and showgirl Mary Phillips, a personal friend - being killed in the span of a week in what were both considered accidents, with the circumstances surrounding both deaths out of character. With only Frank knowing who they are, Sabrina is to go undercover as Frank's personal executive consultant, Bosley as a hotel doorman, Kelly to replace Mary's position as a dancer in the Folies Bergère production, and Kris to be a backup singer for Frank's lounge act, longtime friend and crooner, recently widowed Marty Cole, with Kelly and Kris needing to get their jobs on their own merits. Early suspects include: Mark Haines, the manager of the Dunes Hotel and Casino down the street, he who seems to have a grudge against Frank regardless of what Frank says; comic Joey January, his famous lounge act who is trying to get out of his contract with Frank for a better deal now that he has made a name for himself; and Joan Wells, Mary's roommate who seems to know all the wrong people. However, Kris believes they truly have to get to the core of Frank's being to discover what is going on. Beyond they knowing he being a high roller to the end - as demonstrated by the story of how he got the property, and how he handles a big gambling craps player openly playing the odds with a calculator and winning huge in the process - they only see him as a loner, with his longtime cook, Jip Baker, his seeming only true friend. Sabrina may not want to dig too far below the surface to find the flaws as she and Frank start to fall for each other.

Kris receives a surprise visit from Jill, who has news that after a number of serious boyfriends she is engaged to fellow race car driver, Steve Carmody. However, Jill believed that Kris was expecting her, as Jill came on the emergency telegram supposedly sent from Kris asking her to return immediately, that telegram which Kris did not send. In he receiving a similar telegram from Jill which she did not send, Jill believes the fake telegrams were a means to smoke out stock car racer and designer, Paul Ferrino, an old boyfriend who she has not seen in a year in he being in hiding as he worked on a revolutionary new race car using a turbo charge system he designed. In meeting Paul, Jill accepts his request to be his driver in that now completed vehicle. She further begins to believe that at the core of the fake telegrams is the sender's want to destroy that car so that it cannot be raced. But the Angels, Bosley and Charlie, in helping Jill discover what's going on, have as their primary suspect someone whose name Jill may not want to hear associated to what's going on: Steve.

A man learns that a woman he knew years ago died in an accident. He also learns that she has a son, whom he believes could be his. So he hires the girls to find out. Kelly finds him and gets close to him and is waiting for the right time to tell him because he's fragile. Sabrina learns that his mother is the daughter of a criminal and that the people who are now in charge of his business are wary that her son might come and take over. At the same time, someone is trying to keep them from finding out the truth.

Angels in Springtime

The agency is hired by Eve Perkins, who wants them to investigate the death of her aunt, famous stage actress Eve Le Deux. She died when electrocuted in the hot tub at Springtime, an upscale women's only spa. The death was rule accidental in that the facility's wiring was deemed old and potentially faulty, but Eve believes she was murdered. Adding to the suspicion is that the last person arguably to see her alive, a young therapist at the spa named Amy O'Toole, suddenly vanished after that day. As Springtime is a women's only facility, Bosley will look for Amy while the Angels go undercover inside, Kelly as a guest, Sabrina as a dietitian and Kris as a fitness instructor. Their three primary suspects are: Ingrid Nyberg, the facility's managing director who is up front to Sabrina and Kris that she is the only employee who knows who they are but does not want them there; Dr. Slavin, the facility physician who advocates hypnotherapy; and Zora Stafford, the hulking physical therapist who threatens Kris upon first meeting. The Angels quickly begin to believe that Eve's death had either to do with blackmail, as they discover the facility is filled with means to clandestinely gather private information, and/or Eve's memoirs which she was known to be writing but which no one including her publisher has seen. One person who may know something is fellow guest Norma Powers, a long time friend of Eve's and fellow actress who uses her acting training to be observant of everything that goes on at Springtime. What makes this case more difficult for the Angels is that the facility is like a fortress, with few ways for unwanted people to get in, and equally few ways for anyone to get out that a murderer inside would want to kill.

Winning Is for Losers

In catching up with her old friend, pro golfer Linda Frye, at the Cypress Pines Invitational, Kris learns first hand that someone doesn't want Linda there from the missed potshot fired by an unknown sniper at the two of them. Linda reports that she had received anonymous threats starting a month ago warning her not to play this tournament or else. With a one-stroke lead over last year's winner, the veteran Donna Dawson, with one round to play, Linda, considered the young upstart on the tour, is determined for various reasons not to withdraw. So the Angels and Bosley decide to check into Cypress Pines to watch over Linda while she's not on the course. One person who they hope can provide some assistance is Linda's manager and legal advisor, Bill Montclair, a small town lawyer who ends up having a thing for Kelly. Beyond Donna and the other players as suspects, the Angels and Bosley believe that the enigma that is the dark haired man - he wearing expensive shoes and watch, yet with rumpled clothes including an army jacket - may have something to do with what's going on.

Bosley's bridge partner, wealthy Claire Rossmore, has donated so much money, including the property that was her estate, to a psychic research institute over the past four years that it is now named after her. The Rossmore Institute is run by Dr. Douglas Holden, who Claire considers the preeminent researcher in this field. Claire started donating in the hope that Dr. Holden would be able to contact her nephew, Martin Faber, who died in a tragic motorcycle accident five years ago on what is now the institute's grounds. Claire had mentioned to Dr. Holden that she would only fund the institute for one more year unless he could contact Martin for her. In Martin's voice eventually being channeled through one of the institute's young psychics, Kathy Wade, Bosley - the unofficial client - believes Claire is being swindled by Dr. Holden, while Claire truly does believe Dr. Holden has been able to contact Martin for her. As such, the Angels are tasked with finding out for sure if Bosley or Claire are correct. Kris is to go undercover as a researcher, with Sabrina as her "clairvoyant" subject, who they want Dr. Holden to test further. If there is fraud occurring, the fraudster could be anyone at the institute from Dr. Holden to his associate Barbara Niles to the psychics: Kathy, Eric Knight, or Peter Russell, the latter who has his own television show where he demonstrates his abilities. Their ghost chasing takes a slight turn when a murder occurs, they needing to find the perpetrator which could be connected to their original investigation.

On a cruise ship, one of the passengers recognizes another passenger as a man who killed his wife, but originally disappeared. Later the passenger is found dead. The owner then calls Charlie. The Angels believe that someone is smuggling fugitives out of the country on the ship. And they suspect one man, Sanchez, of being involved. But they know that there are others, so to find out who they are, they need to provide them with another fugitive. So Sabrina poses as a woman on the run and approaches Sanchez who offers to help her for a price. Kelly is hired as the ship's new activities director and Kris goes on board as another passenger. So they figure out which members of the crew are involved but somehow they know who the Angels are.

Kris leaves a late lunch at a restaurant with Sabrina, Kelly and Bosley earlier than the rest to make her next scheduled appointment. The next day, Kris does not turn up at the office as she should have, she nowhere to be found. What they are unaware of is that Kris witnessed a murder in the restaurant parking lot of who was the restaurant owner, Mr. Jarvis, and in the ensuing scuffle with among others the murderer, Ted Burton, Kris suffered a head injury and is now wandering the streets with only a scant recollection of who she is. Sabrina, Kelly and Bosley try to find Kris, their first stop being back to the restaurant where they discover the police are investigating Jarvis' murder which they believe may be connected to Kris' disappearance. They are in a unknowing race as on top of Kris being in an extra vulnerable state not knowing who she is or where she is, Burton is also trying to find her as he knows she can identify him.

The agency is hired by Valerie Ferrar to investigate the death of her father, Les Ferrar. He, who made a living betting horses and often winning in knowing all the horses on the circuit inside out, was killed by being accidentally trampled by a stallion in the track stables. Valerie is almost certain he was murdered as he, knowing horses, would not put himself in a position of danger concerning horses. The Angels and Bosley decide to go under various covers at the track, with a possible murderer being a number of track regulars: stable owner Carter Gillis; trainer Thad Roper; training boy Kevin Ryan; and Gates, a stable hand. They believe that Les' death has something to do with a horse switching scheme, namely with a horse named Perdition who none of the regulars seem to have any faith in, but who seems to run like a dream. They know that the horse at the track claiming to be Perdition, isn't. Even if they are able to find Perdition, they have decide how to play it out as they still have to find Les' murderer first and foremost.

Angels on Vacation

Kris invites the gang to join her when she visits her aunt and uncle who are the mayor and sheriff respectively of a small town. Before they arrive some men take her uncle, and along with most of the town's women, put them on a bus and drive off. When the gang arrives they discover that the place that Kris booked for them tells them they have no vacancies. When they go see her aunt she acts very nervously, and she refuses to reveal what's going on. That's when two of the men who took her uncle takes a shot at them.

Counterfeit Angels

The Agency's in trouble when three women who claim to be "the Angels" rob the Los Angeles memorial sports arena and then later a boutique. The owner claims that Charlie called him up and said that his establishment's security needs to be checked out so he sends "the angels". But Charlie somehow gives the girls the heads up so they go hide while they try to sort the whole things out. It seems the whole things was engineered by an impersonator, who was the one who called the owner. It seems he owes a bookie a lot of money when what they got was not enough to cover what he owes he plans another job. But when the bookie learns of what he's been doing, he tells him to pull another job but it seems one of the girls was injured in the last job. But when the girls learn the impostors are actors, so Sabrina goes to the agent and when he sees that she resembles their Sabrina--the one that was hurt, they ask to join them.

Disco Angels

In helping the Committee for Concerned Elder Citizens, Charlie asks the Angels and Bosley to investigate the strangulation murders of so far three elderly disadvantaged men who rode the bus from the beach at night. They learn that all three victims were in the vicinity of Freddie's Disco the night they were killed, so they decide to go undercover in infiltrating the disco to see if there is any connection. If there is, the killer could be among the regulars at the club: owner Fred Heston and his wife Marian Heston, the two who are having serious marital problems; Connie, Fred's current lady friend; Harry Owens, the ambitious club DJ who is aiming to get his name on the club's marquee; Lanny Press, the club manager; Mario Montero, the hired dancer whose job is to keep the action going on the dance floor but who is working toward becoming a lawyer; and Mario's proud but ageist father, Hector Montero, who teaches disco dancing to seniors, but who doesn't much like them despite being closer to a senior himself.

The government warns the Angels that the identities of all their federal agents may have been revealed. During their investigation of the guests at the hotel of the President's murdered aide, the Angels discover that an extremist Italian Radical Group is there. When Sabrina is captured by them, she learns of their violent past.

Kris is kidnapped by someone claiming that they want to hire the Angels. A few hours later they get a note saying that it was big sister Jill that was kidnapped. Jill then flies in from Montreal, where she was scheduled to race, and joins the Angels in the search for her sister. Jill herself is later taken captive and it is soon revealed that Kris was kidnapped by the father of a young man who was infatuated with Jill and whom he holds responsible for his son's death. Now Sabrina, Kelly and Boz must track down the Monroe sisters and their captors before it is too late.

Teen Angels

The agency is hired by Jeffrey Blackmoor, owner/principal of Blackmoor College, a girls' finishing school. One of the students, Patty Cantwell, was strangled to death shortly after calling Blackmoor to make an appointment wanting to talk to him about something important. Two other students had previously left the college upon receiving anonymous threats of strangulation. With only Blackmoor knowing who they are, the Angels and Bosley go undercover at the college, Kris as a student of means much like the others, and Sabrina, Kelly and Bosley as members of the faculty/staff. Upon witnessing an incident upon immediately arriving in town, the Angels and Bosley believe that three students are involved in something untoward: Donna Rossiter, Cissy Cantwell and Bo Fleming, with Donna the ringleader who is not shy about flexing her power over others. They also find that a student named Liz, who was Patty's best friend, is also afraid of Donna and afraid of something that is happening around her. The Angels and Bosley will have to try to divide and conquer to discover what is going on, with the college's driver and all-around Jack-of-all-trades Victor Hoagland also involved with Donna and the others in some way.

Marathon Angels

After reporting the incident to the police, Helga Jonson enters the agency office to hire the Angels to find her business partner and friend, Sylvia Laven, both of who were attacked by two men in masks when they were just out for a run, with Sylvia abducted by them in the process. The Angels learn that the run was in preparation for the two to be part of a stunt event called "Twilliger's Twenty", where Mr. Twilliger of Twilliger's Togs sportswear has hired twenty attractive and fit women to run a fifteen mile staggered start race through the streets of Los Angeles wearing his running clothes, each woman completing the race paid $1,000, with the winner to receive $5,000. Initially only a starting point in their investigation, the Angels and Bosley believe the race has something to do with Sylvia's abduction. By race time, another entrant, Sally Cole, has also not shown up, they further believing Sally also abducted. Beyond the other seventeen runners who may have tried to eliminate the competition to have a greater chance at the first place prize, they have several suspects behind the abductions: Twilliger himself, who seems to be all about the stunt at whatever cost and seems more annoyed with the Angels than concerned when learning about Sylvia's abduction; reporter Millicent Krail, who is openly dismissive of the event in her on air reports; and the two women who miraculously showed up to replace Sylvia and Sally in the race, sisters Mary Craft and Joanne Craft, who end up being obstacles to Kelly and Kris running in the race to have a first hand, up close perspective of the event as it is happening.

Bosley, before going to work, meets a woman and wants to spends time with her. So he goes to the office and makes a bet with the girls if they can find him he'll do all the work, so he leaves and says he'll call them to give them a hint of where he is. After he leaves Charlie calls telling them to tell Bosley that a man whom they helped send to prison a few years ago for killing his wife has been released and to be weary of the press. But what they don't know is that the man associated with the wife killer is following Bosley.

Rosemary, for Remembrance

Tim Stone hires the agency on behalf of his uncle, Jake Garfield, a former Depression era bootlegger who, after the end of Prohibition, was nonetheless convicted on such charges as tax evasion. Jake has just been released from prison and has been living like he still did in 1935 before his incarceration. Since his release, two attempts have been made on his life. Jake is certain the attempts were made by Lawrence Renaldi, a rival bootlegger in the 1930s and who now on the surface is a respectable businessman as a beer manufacturer. Jake is also certain that Renaldi was the person who, in 1935, killed Jake's wife, Rosemary Garfield in an accidental shooting in the Garfield's limousine believing the person in the car being Jake. As the attempts on Jake's life may thus be tied to Rosemary's murder, Tim wants the Angels and Bosley not only to provide bodyguard services for Jake in discovering who is trying now to kill him, but also find out who killed Rosemary. Beyond the general investigative services the agency will provide, Tim hand picks Kris to be the one to be Jake's bodyguard for reasons that will soon become abundantly clear to Kris. Jake only remembers what happened the night of Rosemary's murder up to a point before the story goes blank in his mind. Kris wants to help Jake remember what did happen that night, which may be made easier with certain players from that era beyond Renaldi still alive: Jake's longtime housekeeper, Elsa Himbeere, and the police detective who worked on the case at the time, now retired Gordon Sanders. But the more the events of that night come into focus, the more dangerous the job becomes for Kris, especially if the theory among those concerned is true: that Jake killed Rosemary.

Just before the Angels and Bosley are scheduled to head off on their respective annual vacations, Charlie convenes them in the office for an evening meeting, he not disclosing the nature of the meeting beforehand. It isn't until Bosley is the last to arrive with cake and champagne that the Angels learn that Charlie wants to celebrate the three year anniversary of the Angels working for him, two specifically for Kris. In their celebration, they all cannot help but reminisce about the memorable cases and memorable instances within cases. While many of those memories are fond ones, some were potentially tragic for them, while others are bittersweet. Happy Anniversary Angels, Bosley and Charlie.
