Sabrina and Kelly welcome a new Angel in the person of Jill's little sister Kris. However, the celebration is short lived as the Angels receive word that Charlie, who was on vacation in Hawaii, has been kidnapped by Leilani Sako, who wants the Angels to break her husband Billy out of prison or else she will kill Charlie. The girls succeed in getting Billy out, but before they can make the exchange, Charlie is taken hostage by the even more vicious Mr. Blue, who wants Billy dead.

When two skaters at an ice show disappear, the owner calls Charlie and sends the girls to check it out. Later the security guard at the arena is also taken, told by the kidnappers to call the owner and tell him that he's sick but he's sending someone to replace him. Later Kelly and Kris try out for the show and somehow make it. Later two skaters come out of nowhere and offer to fill in for the missing skaters, and they do well and are accepted. Kelly finds the whole things suspect. Later the show's handyman is also taken. And one of the replacement skaters has a relative who can fill in for the man.

For their next case, the Angels and Bosley head to Freebairn, Iowa, the home of the Chrysanthemum Festival Beauty Pageant. Their client, Ben Pawl, the pageant organizer and host, tells them that there has been an obvious attempt to terrorize the contestants, the result so far being a contestant list of sixty-seven dwindled down to now just nine due to girls pulling out out of fear. They collectively do not know if the perpetrator's ultimate goal is to kill one of the girls, just scare them and/or ruin the pageant's reputation. In a draw of the proverbial straws, Kelly and Kris go undercover as new pageant contestants, and Sabrina and Bosley as a documentary film team covering the pageant. Complications in the case may occur with two issues. The first is that Pawl, who considers the pageant the biggest thing since sliced bread, sees himself as the white knight coming to save the day, he who wants to do whatever and more to save the pageant. The Angels and Bosley have to figure out how to do their job while keeping Pawl out of their hair. And the second is that both Kelly and Kris don't want to admit but really want to be crowned Miss Chrysanthemum, in the process doing whatever to show herself to the judges to her best advantage.

The agency's next client is Charlie's old friend, Hildy Slater, the owner/operator of an "adult growth center" called Utopia West, where guests are asked to check their inhibitions at the door. Just as she was walking by her nephew Frank Slater's cabin, she heard some ruckus and gunshots, a person running from the cabin, and a dead Frank on the floor of his cabin. Frank had only recently arrived at Utopia West, he a Vietnam War vet and drifter who worked as Hildy's driver. To investigate Frank's murder, the Angels and Bosley can easily work their way undercover into Utopia West with little suspicion, as the murder has scared off some employees and guests. Kelly is to fill Frank's position which includes staying in Frank's old cabin where the murder took place, Kris is to act as the physical education instructor leading such activities as tai chi and yoga, and Sabrina will be a freelance reporter/guest writing a story about the murder, while Charlie figures this case would be a good opportunity to place a gluttonous Bosley on one of Hildy's special weight loss diets as another guest. Despite being with Hildy at the time of finding Frank's dead body, Lon Molton, a Lothario of a man and one of Hildy's senior employees, becomes an early leading suspect due to his suspicious behavior. Who emerges as another suspect is Doug O'Neal, an ex-competitive skier also a guest at Utopia West, which places Sabrina in a difficult position as, getting over an initial antagonistic encounter with each other, Doug and Sabrina are slowly falling in love with each other.

Charlie then decides to have one of the girls take her place and the one chosen is Kelly because her voice is almost similar to the reporter's. So while Kelly takes her place, the others try to figure out who's trying to kill her but it won't be easy since the reporter does dozens of stories at a given time.

A young man whom Kelly knew when she was a cop is arrested for making a disturbance at his girlfriend's place. He calls Kelly telling her that he was looking for her, she offers to help. Kelly then talks to her friends who tells Kelly that she's pregnant and is planning to give the baby up for adoption. So Kelly goes in as an expectant mother and makes contact with her. In the meantime they discover that the brokers might not be all that legitimate because one of the them has a criminal record and they learn that one of the expectant mothers died under mysterious circumstances after giving birth.

Musical theater star Ellen Jason is in rehearsal for the film adaptation of her Broadway hit from five years ago, Sweet Misery, to which she bought the rights. She starred in the stage production with who is now her ex-husband, Frank Jason, who refuses to appear in the movie, despite needing the money due to gambling debts. There is general animosity between the two being like oil and water - Ellen the homebody, and Frank who always needs some excitement - with their young adult son, Larry Jason, caught in the middle. The agency is hired by Ellen when she is almost injured or possibly more seriously killed in an on-set accident, seemingly purposefully set. Beyond Frank and other people who wanted to buy the rights to the musical as enemies who may want to see her hurt, Ellen brings up the jinxed history of the sound stage she has rented for filming as a possible reason for what happened to her on set. There have been three serious accidents on the sound stage, the first and most infamous occurring fifteen years ago which resulted in the death of musical theater star Norma Friedrich, that accident which led to that sound stage being closed for ten years.

While Sabrina goes to the man whose business is being attacked by the arsonist. And the man is not cooperating with the investigation.

Later the guy goes to Sammy's house and drives one of Sammy's cars. Later the ones who tried to grab Sammy mistake the look alike for Sammy so they grab him. The angels agree the best thing is not let it be known that they grabbed the look alike. So they wait for them to make contact.

Some people go to a dude ranch, they arrive in the evening and they're brought there in a van. When they arrive one of the guests is killed. Obviously one of the guests killed him. So Charlie is hired to find out who so he sends the girls and Bosley to the ranch. When they arrive Charlie informs them that the dead man was involved in some kind of scam and some of the guests and a ranch employee worked with him. And one of these persons, a woman who was involved with the man, appears to have hooked up with another guest.

The Angels and Bosley are looking into a string of what were potentially deadly accidents on the women's professional tennis tour that were no accidents, the latest at the local stop of the La Hermosa Tennis Club. Among the suspects (as they may well want or need the prize money), as well as being potential victims are the remaining players on the tour as many others have pulled out of La Hermosa out fear: Sandy Keller, the latest victim; Helga Bourne, the Swedish national champion; Carmita Ladina, the Mexican national champion; and American Carrie Jo Evans, a former champion who is mounting a comeback after being retired for one year. Other suspects include: Ronny Kyle, a former tennis player who is acting as a broadcaster at La Hermosa, but who may not be the biggest fan of women's tennis having lost a battle of the sexes match against Carrie Jo; and Arlo Spinner, Carrie Jo's current sponsor, his company which manufactures tennis racquets among other tennis equipment. Although only having played varsity in college, Kris will go undercover as a late entry at La Hermosa, while Sabrina and Kelly will pose as a sports fashion designer and model, and Bosley who will be a court-side vendor. Once the Angels and Bosley get into their roles, one other suspect emerges, a woman attending the event as a spectator who constantly has her eyes on Bosley.

Three men rob a jewelry house and make off with some valuable gems. One of them grabs the jewels and tries to make a break for it. The other two show up at the office and pulls their guns and one of them makes Sabrina wear a belt that has explosives in it. They tells them that they want them to find their partner and bring the jewels to them. So Kris and Kelly search for the man. They start with the hospital because they say that when he was making his getaway they shot him and that he could have been hit. When they find him but he gets away, Kris and Kelly decide to seek out the guards who helped them with the robbery. Eventually with their help they find him but he's dead and the gems are gone. Kris and Kelly along with Charlie devise a scheme to get the ones holding Sabrina and Bosley out of the office so they can save them.

He escapes and goes to Charlie and while he claims he doesn't have the gem, he knows who does. So along with the girls they go to where the man who has it lives to try and recover it. But the men who want the gem follow them there.

The agency is hired by Amy Jarvis, the coach/manager/player for a women's football team, the Ducks. Amy has received a few threatening telephone calls, with the latest incident being two unknown motorcycle thugs terrorizing one of the players, Pokey Jefferson, all in a seeming effort to get Amy to disband the team before an upcoming exhibition game with the Panthers at the Coliseum, Amy hoping it the start of a full-fledged women's league. The threats are despite the Ducks being less than a stellar team, Amy who recently brought in her chauvinistic father, Dan Jarvis, an ex-pro fullback, to provide some coaching assistance. Against their wants, the Angels go undercover as new members of the Ducks, Sabrina and Kelly who had some football experience at the academy. The chief suspects include anyone associated with the Panthers, and one specific Duck, Grinelda, who seems to want to flex her muscles, especially against novice Kris. As they progress with the case, Sabrina comes to have an equally important mission: to beat the Panthers to show up specifically the Panthers' cocky owner, Julia Smyth, who happens to ride a motorcycle like the unknown thugs, and hopefully in the process Amy getting the love and respect from her father she has never received.

The Sandcastle Murders

Charlie allows the Angels to forgo their next case in Palm Springs - much to Bosley's chagrin in losing some billable hours - to help Kris investigate something to do with one of her casual friends, a typical runaway living on the beach named Betsy Harper. Betsy implied that she had some information of a criminal nature, but was too scared to tell Kris. Kris believes that it has something to do with what are coined the Sandcastle Murders: young women found strangled to death, their bodies buried under sandcastles on the beach. What little money Betsy has she got from selling Melissa Cosmetics door-to-door, the company owned by beach resident Melissa Rossiter, a self-made woman who is trying to pay it forward as she was once just like Betsy. Melissa is currently going through a contentious divorce, which is delaying her next marriage to one of her VPs, Larry Fallon. Kris and Kelly investigate through the regular channels on the beach, Kris with a private beach security guard named Dave Christopher, who seems to have a chip on his shoulders. They will eventually require Sabrina and Bosley to go undercover as they discover more and more connections between all the players on the beach who are potentially connected to the murders. The unknown muscle dude with the forearm tattoo, he driving the blue van, seems to be one of the connecting and so far missing pieces to the puzzle. Adding to the complications is that Lt. Francona, the lead police investigator who came up through the ranks with Charlie, also has a chip on his shoulders in comparing his life to Charlie's, he who does not appreciate the Angels being on the scene.

A singer who had a breakdown while performing then walked off and disappeared for a few hours. She would then call her father telling him, she's on her way home. But after calling him, some men grab her and then kill her by giving her drugs. Her father then hires Charlie to find out what happened to her. First the girls learn that she overdosed on heroin which is not the drug she's known to take. They learn that she spent those hours she was away riding around in a cab. So Kris pretends to be a reporter and asks the cabbie who drove her around to take her where the singer went and once he shows them where she went; Kelly or Sabrina will find out what happened. After showing Kris her first stop and after talking to the man she saw, the one who killed the singer asks the man why someone is talking to him. That's when there's a struggle and the man is killed.

Mother Goose Is Running for His Life

When a toymaker has a few close calls, he calls Charlie who then has the girls on it. Sabrina pretends to be the daughter of a foreign toymaker who wants to go into business with the toymaker. Gordon, one of the toymaker's designers, wants to make toys that are a bit eerie and hopes that Sabrina can help him. Later a man breaks into the toymaker's office and gets killed. So the girls try to find out who he is and they learn he works for one of the toymaker's competitors who wants his new designs.

Diamond thieves want to abduct a brunette night club singer to force her husband to tell them where their diamonds are. Kelly poses as the singer with the other Angels nearby, ready to take the bad guys down. But the joke's on Kelly when three muscle bound henchmen burst into her dressing room and slap an ether soaked pad on her mouth. Kelly struggles with her attackers but they muffle her screams until she's out like a light. Kris and Sabrina enter after the unconscious Kelly has been carried away, and the odor in her dressing room tells them she's been abducted. The angels have to find Kelly and the men who drugged her before she comes to and reveals that they they've grabbed the wrong girl!.

Antique Angels

The agency is hired by Larry Montaigne of Montaigne Research and Development, which has just developed a new space-aged solid fuel, libidrium. Montaigne is scheduled to present the fuel to NASA for possible sale in the week, but the two fuel cores were stolen from his highly fortified facility, with the only probable eyewitness to the theft, the security guard on duty, killed in the process. The fuel cores are worth a few million, and will probably be sold to a foreign government meaning that the thief needs to get the cores out of the country. A further issue is that the fuel is highly radioactive, hence the need to keep the fuel contained within the cylindrical cores. In doing a search of the facility grounds, Sabrina finds some narrow tire tracks, which the Angels and Bosley tie to an antique car rally starting in the town of Termo, twenty miles away, they assuming the thief transporting the cores in his/her car in the rally to drop off en rally route at Santa Barbara on the coast to get it out of the country. In going undercover as antique car reporters, they are able to find four cars at the rally that match the tire marks at Montaigne's facility. As they delve into each of the four, they find that the respective owners are acting suspiciously, and/or what they said about themselves did not totally match what Charlie is able to find out about them, leaving all four as suspects. A further suspect is the rally director, Jeffers, purely due to the fact of he acknowledging his financial problems and his appreciation of the finer things in life.
