A mild-mannered high-school chemistry teacher learns that he has terminal cancer, and impulsively decides to start cooking crystal meth in order to provide for his family in this nail-biting drama that depicts, as creator Vince Gilligan so memorably put it, a man transforming from "Mr. Chips to Scarface." With possibly only months to live, Walter White (Bryan Cranston) decides to start manufacturing drugs with his former student Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul), but what looks like easy money soon turns into a nightmare as the two men get involved with a kingpin named Tuco Salamanca (Raymond Cruz).
