Far distant from Earth on a red planet of Antars, a tyrant Zanu has killed their king and imprisoned the queen. The crown prince, their son, named Yubi (Christopher Burton) has escaped to Earth in a company of the droid Zax (voiced by Ric Spiegel), where they have become friends with a stray dog named Benji.

The Prince and the Bag Lady

Crown Prince Yubi and his level 2 asynchronous droid Zax struggle to put together a solar stove in hopes of cooking the first food they find on Earth: some eggs scrounged for them by their new friend: Benji. Unsuccessful, and with his cipher (a life support device worn on the wrist) informing him of the urgency for him to eat, Yubi consumes an egg raw, sending Benji and Zax into the nearby town in search for reflectors for the stove. While in town, they spot Darah and Khyber, hunters sent by Zanu to capture the prince. They return to the prince just in time to help him evade the hunters-barely. With the help with a homeless woman, the prince survives his first encounter with Darah and Khyber...and his adventures on Earth, both for survival and to evade Zanu's hunters, begins.
