79 mins

Twenty of Australia's best ninjas team up to represent their state, with five state teams battling against each other across four rounds to determine which four states will go through to the final. In the first three rounds, they will take on a course that includes the Snake Run, Propeller Bar to Rope, Spinning Log, Salmon Ladder to Flying Shelf, Basket Toss, Warped Wall, Barrel Roll, Spider Jump and Chimney Sweep. The first round is a team speed relay where the first three competitors face two obstacles each, while the last competitor is tasked with completing the final three obstacles. The second round is a pairs relay where each state chooses two people, one to negotiate the first five obstacles, the other to complete the final four. The third round is a solo run where one competitor who did not take part in the pairs relay takes on the entire course. At the end of each round, the state that completes the course the furthest fastest wins a fast pass to the final, allowing them to sit out the remaining rounds. The two remaining states go head to head on the Power Tower, with the winning state taking the last place in the final and the losing state being eliminated.

State of Origin, Part 2

84 mins

The four states who have qualified for the finals begin by competing in a pairs relay, where one competitor from each state starts by facing the Rope Jungle, Spin Hopper and Bar Hop, before handing over to a team-mate to take on the Double Squirrel, Ferris Wheel and Wall Lift. Each state gets two runs with all four team members taking part. The second round is a team relay where one person tackles the Hang Climb, another faces the Body Prop, a third person takes on the Crazy Cliffhanger and the final person has to complete the Floating Doors and Flying Bar. If one competitor fails at an obstacle, the next person can continue on their obstacle, but their state will not be credited with a completion. At the end of both rounds, the state with the fewest obstacle completions is eliminated. The two remaining states then nominate one competitor to face each other in a final showdown on the Power Tower, with the winning state receiving A$100,000.
