A cultural family living in the suburbs do their best to deal with the every day routine of life. With the pressures of school and work, it is difficult for all of them to grow up. With the help of family and friends, they all work together to manage their complicated lives.

New York detective Mike McNeil is well-known for his unconventional approach of fighting crime. But it also takes a toll in his personal life complicated by his wife and girlfriend on the side.

While Aladdin (Scott Weinger) may still be living on the streets of Agrabah, he is now engaged to the beautiful and spirited Princess Jasmine (Linda Larkin). "Al" and Jasmine, along with monkey sidekick Abu (Frank Welker), the Magic Carpet, the fast-talking, shape-shifting Genie (Dan Castellaneta), and Iago the short-tempered parrot (Gilbert Gottfried), continue their adventures exploring the world and protecting Agrabah.

Local TV show host Bonnie Molloy has the life of a sort-of celebrity. Sometimes her fans actually remember her name. But when it comes to her family life, a little fame goes a long way. Especially when her husband and children catch a glimmer of themselves in the supposedly true anecdotes mom tells her morning viewers.

Katey Sagal plays a narcissistic TV producer. Hank Azaria plays several characters.

Straight-laced Morris Clay and fun-loving Tyberius Walker are two Han Solo wannabes who fly around the galaxy in the Space Hoopty, a used starship that looks like a winged car and comes with a smart-mouthed computer called Loquatia, who has the hots for Morris. Ty and Morris go on wild adventures while taking abuse from Ty's brother-in-law Vashti and get shown up by gorgeous bounty hunter Amma most of the time.
